Reservations must be received by November 30th. Members are free and adult guests will be $25.00 each. If you are bringing children, please contact the Pres for prices. Please send in your reservations early. The last day to register is November 30 th. OFFICER NOMINATIONS AND ELECTIONS During the November 2013 meeting, we reviewed nominations for club officers and other club functionaries. Gene Bossaller will retain the President s position. Bruce Stocker will serve as Vice President. Charles Hutchison will serve as secretary. Don Oehlert will continue to serve as club treasurer. Please thank and congratulate these officers as they take over their functions in January ARCHWAY CLUB DUES Please check your membership status for If in doubt, ask a club officer regarding you status. Dues are due at the beginning of each year and can be paid for either one or two years. Dues are still $20.00 for one year and $35.00 for two years. Please send your dues to the club mailing address found on this page. If needed, any club officer can provide the membership form. 1

3 The November President s Message Happy Thanksgiving to All! Hope you had a relaxing Thanksgiving with your friends and family. This time of year is all about coming together with family and friends and I hope you have plans to do that in this next month. Enjoy and relax from the hectic world we live in. Please fill out and send in the 2013 Christmas Holiday Brunch registration form that was included in your November Archway Olds newsletter on the back page. Complete and send to our post office box immediately if you have not done so already. Don needs a count of attendees so he can tell Barb so she can reply back to Spiro's on how many people are coming. Spiro's will have a nice brunch set up for the members on December 8th at 11:00 AM. Directions where Spiro's is located are also on the same back page in the November club newsletter. Hope you registered. I have been serving as Director / President of the Archway Oldsmobile Club for eight years now. I have been allowed to serve another year from our membership and I am proud to serve this extraordinary club. Thank you. Ed Davis has decided to step down from his Vice Presidency position at this time. We all appreciate all his service provided for the club these past years. Thank Ed the next time you see him. Bruce Stocker was nominated and voter approved to be our 2014 Vice President, thank you Bruce. With the club secretary position opening as Bruce was moved the club nominated Charlie Hutchison to be our 2014 secretary position and was both voted in by the membership during the November club meeting. Both accepted their new positions. The club thanks Bruce and Charlie for becoming our newly elected 2014 club positions. Next time you see them, thank them for accepting these officers positions in the club. Thank the club officers who remain in their positions and the other members who volunteer for the many duties and tasks that are important during the year as it takes many to make this club a success. The Archway Oldsmobile Club has secured itself for the future. Gerry Davis has updated our Archway Club roster in November with the new members that we have received in the past year. Come to our January meeting or contact Gerri for your updated roster copy. Thank you Gerry. Jerry Wilson has received a letter from Tan-Tar-A Resort asking where the Archway Oldsmobile Club has been and are we open to coming back. Let's discuss this at the January meeting. Do we want to have Mark Goldfeder attend one of our meetings to present a new set of pictures of street cars in St. Louis? Barb has seen them at another meeting and stated these new pictures are a good presentation. Doc mentioned to have Scott Brandt President of Moto Exotica give us a presentation? Would the membership be open for club presentations? Let us know your thoughts at the January meeting. There will be no club meeting in December. Our club gathering is the Sunday December 8th Christmas Brunch event. The Archway Club had a busy year in It doesn't get much bigger than hosting an OCA event with all the other shows we hosted and assisted. Bring your thoughts and suggestions for 2014 at the next meeting for possible actions for the club in August 2014 has five Friday's, five Saturdays, and five Sundays. Here is an extra weekend in August. We can do something as a group during these three days? Remember your club dues are due at the beginning of the year. November 2013 Meeting Minutes Stay Tuned for the meeting minutes next month! Event for 2014 The 23rd annual Buick-Olds Pontiac Cadillac swap meet is coming up on February 23rd. This is a big event in the Chicagoland area, and people from Wisconsin, Indiana, Missouri - even a couple from Nebraska - sell yearly at the show. It is not too early to plan on selling at the show or attending.
