2 Neeco Industries, Inc. is pleased to introduce its Model FLN and FLSN API-6A MONOGRAMMED Gate Valves A. The Neeco FLN and FLSN API-6A gate valves contain a one-piece seat without any body bushings perfect for use in severe applications and drilling manifolds for offshore and onshore rigs. B. As a brief summary, Neeco introduced its FLN and FLSN series of valves in 2009, and they have been used by various companies in different applications throughout the world. C. Both models (FLN, FLSN) contain a one-piece seat design, without any body bushings, and contain features that allow for easy operation and maintenance.

3 NEECO FLN / FLSN API-6A GATE VALVE SPECIFICATIONS Sizes:- 1-13/16 to 7-1/16 Pressure rating:- 2,000-5,000 psi (FLN) & 2,000-10,000 psi (FLSN) Design:- One-piece seat design (NO body bushings) PSL-1 to PSL-3G; PR-1, PR-2; PU, PX; DD to FF. 1. Handwheel Operated- The Neeco FLN and FLSN valves, manually operated (Handwheel/HWO), are full-bore, through-conduit double-flanged valves that contain a nonrising stem and solid single-piece slab gate. They are forged valves with a bi-directional design and include a positive metal-to-metal seal. 2. Actuated- The Neeco FLN and FLSN HCR/HYD (HYDRAULIC) Gate Valves incorporate a rising stem and a balance stem (dual-bonnet) on the bottom of the valve body. All other features are identical to the (HWO) FLN and FLSN valves. 3. Seat-to-Body design The primary feature of FLN/FLSN gate valves is the seat-to-body design. In the older Neeco FCN design, both seats and body bushings are used in order to provide a true metal-to-metal seal. In the FLN and FLSN design, there are NO body bushings, only one-piece designed seats, which are lapped on both sides for a true metal-tometal sealing against the gate and body. 4. FLN vs FLSN- Both models contain a single slab gate, non-rising stem, and one-piece designed seats without any body bushings. The FLN is designed to be used in low pressure environments of 2,000-5,000psi while the FLSN can be used for both lower pressure ratings and high pressure ratings from 2,000-10,000psi (See Availability Chart). The FLN is designed with ONE peek seal, inserted on the OD area of the seats. The FLSN is designed with TWO peek seals, inserted on the OD and ID areas of the seats. 5. Peek Seal Specifics- The peek seals in both the FLN and FLSN valves are energized PEEK lip seals that are located in the seat-to-body interface. (Nitrile/Buna Elastomer Seals ARE

4 NOT used on the FLN or FLSN). The spring-loaded design of the seal maintains contact between the gate and seats, wiping the seal surfaces and protecting them from damage due to sand or other contaminants. Additionally, the body cavity clearance is effectively reduced to zero, while the downstream sealing function of the slab gate is retained. 6. Metal-to-Metal Sealing Both the FLN & FLSN gate valve feature a bonnet, gate-to-seat, and seat-to-body seals, which all include metal-to-metal sealing. Seal surfaces on both sides of the seats and gate are lapped to ensure tight sealing. Lubricant is used strictly to limit wear, friction, and intrusion of contaminants into the valve cavity. 7. Ease of Use One-piece floating seats and a floating slab gate provide reliable performance due to the simplicity of operation and a minimum number of sealing interfaces. (FLN and FLSN valves do not utilize split gates or two-piece seats that can pressure lock). Modified acme threads at the gate-to-stem interface provide sufficient freedom of movement in all directions to affect a positive downstream seal. 8. Bi-Directional Sealing The FLN and FLSN gate valves have a symmetrical, bi-directional design without a preferred direction of operation. The seal diameters and bearing areas of the seats are designed to prevent trapping of pressure inside the valve cavity. 9. Stem Seal The FLN and FLSN gate valves feature a non-elastomeric stem seal that is spring-loaded and pressure-energized so that no longitudinal preload or precise space-out is required.
