13 Heating Products Heat Pump The P1 heat pump is a small, lightweight, cost effective way of pre-heating your engine. 240V powered it will quickly heat your entire cooling system to a maximum 176*F all night! Different from the common non-pump heaters (tank-type heaters), the P1 heat pump has an internal circulation pump. Therefore the preheater can be connected into the cooling system easily. It can force the coolant to circulate through the P1 heat pump and the engine, whilst continuously heating and circulating the coolant. Thus the P1 heat pump has more powerful heat output, and it can warm up the entire engine quicker. Starting a well-warmed engine creates less internal component wear. Advantages 1. Universal and simplest installation the P1 heat pump offers the simplest installation due to its pump-type construction and the smallest size 2. High reliability The high reliability is one of the main design goals. The P1 heat pump has simple structure and minimal parts, so it displays extremely high operational reliability. 14

14 3. Perfect preheating effect. Due to the internal pump and more heat output, the P1 heat pump can warm up the engine very quickly, and the block can reach a higher temperature also. 4. Low circulation resistance. The P1 heat pump incorporates low circulation resistance structural design. 5. Works automatically due to an internal thermostat in the unit, it is set to turn off at 165 degrees F and turn on at 150 degrees F. 6. A High safety thermostat is incorporated to regulate the temperature. A second over-temperature cutout is equipped as an additional safety measure. The superior aluminum casing to provide an additional electrical safety measures *Pumps must be primed before use and mounted below the highest point in the cooling system.
