19 DDS MWD Service At Downhole Drilling Services we provide customers with a positive pulse retrievable MWD system that is rugged, reliable and considered one of the best MWD tools available in the market today. Manufactured by Tolteq, our positive pulse Measurement-While-Drilling system uses state-of-the-art technology for an unprecedented access to downhole information. With DDS systems you will be able to receive real-time shock, vibration, battery voltage, gamma, downhole temperature and rotational inclination data while drilling. One of the newest technologies DDS can provide is downhole Rotational Software. This means no more NPT time tripping out of the hole to reprogram the MWD tool for the lateral section of a horizontal well. When the driller is rotating, the tool goes into a rotational sequence and sends only the data required while rotating. For example; ROTS= gamma, shock, vibration, temp, rpms and etc. While sliding the tool sends tool face information along with gamma logging including real time shock and vibration along with real time downhole temperature.
20 DDS MWD Service Downhole Drilling Services Advanced Features Operational real time and environment history recorded in internal memory On-board rotation detection (ROTS) Shock, vibration & RPM pulsed to surface in real time Addition of new rotation sequence Advanced internal logging Internal current usage logged to memory Smart power management efficient battery switching and logging of voltage and current Fluxgate magnetometers Quartz-flexure accelerometer Legacy compatible Enhanced circuit protection Calibration coefficients included directly into module memory Quality wiring inside with strain relief connectors and high temp mesh covering for wires Shorter, more rugged tool design
