Descriptin f the A/C AIR LAUNCHER TM The user has the ability t prduce a spectacular simulated firewrks display, utdrs, withut the risk f fire! When laded prperly, this device will safely prpel tissue streamers and/r tissue (nt paper) cnfetti t distances f up t 100 in the air! The end result resembles a cascading display f daytime firewrk-like effects. Nte: due t wind resistance and lw weight, cnfetti will nt travel as far as streamers. The included 5- galln air tank must be filled frm an air cmpressr r be cnnected int a cnstant replenishing CO 2 air cylinder tank (available frm yur lcal gas supplier), eliminating the need fr manual refills. The CO 2 air tank makes it ecnmically feasible t d cntinuus relads and refills fr places like circuses r theme parks. Features a built-in safety release, tw types f filling valves, a pressure gauge and an electric release slenid valve (1/2" high-vlume type). The launcher fires as sn as it is plugged in, r if cnnected t an electrical switchbx, as sn as it is switched n. Launcher cmes with a 24VAC slenid valve and 120VAC/24V transfrmer. 5. Safety instructins WARNING: Read and understand all labels and perating instructins befre attempting installatin. Inspect all equipment and barrel befre use. D nt use if barrel is cracked r chipped. Be sure area arund launcher is dry befre applying electrical pwer. 4

6 Never pint the muzzle directly at anyne r lk ver the barrel when pressurized and laded. Secure the launcher s that it will nt be mved after it is aimed. Use a safety cable if the launcher is rigged abve grund. When using, keep away frm spectatrs and always aim straight up ver everyne s head WARNING! Never use a cnfetti-launching prduct if there are pen flames present. Use nly tissue-type cnfetti r streamers that are flame retardant as sld by CITC. Never use paper dts r heavy paper cnfetti. Pressurize up t maximum 100 PSI (6.9 bar) nly! 6. Operating the A/C AIR LAUNCHER TM 6.1 Assembly Secure a gd lcatin fr the machine t rest slidly n the flr. Secure the launcher s it will nt be mved after it is aimed Anchr as needed with straps, screws, r sandbags. Use a safety cable if the launcher is rigged abve grund Install the 2 (5cm) barrel n the valve assembly. 6.2 Lading If yu pwer the transfrmer, the slenid immediately releases the air. Always be sure yur pwer is ff befre lading and pressurizing. As sn as yu plug it in, it will fire. It is a gd practice t test the slenid valve with a charge f air befre lading the barrel. Optinal lifting cup: fr 2 (5cm) barrel lading style, insert a fam plug (lifting cup) by pushing the entire fam disk dwn the barrel t the bttm. Yu may need t squeeze the bttm f the disk t make it fit. If lifting cups are unavailable, use paper wadding. The lifting cup acts as a bttm expanding sealer, making the device mre pwerful. This ejects yur streamers fr a lnger distance. Nw yu are ready t lad prduct n tp f the lifting cup. Hard press, packing is nt necessary. Indrs: We recmmend a minimum f 60 rlls f 30 streamers. The mre yu include, the mre spectacular the effect! If yur budget allws, using 120 rlls lks great. If yu want an unbelievable effect, use 240 rlls! Yu may fill the unit t the tp if yu wish r just lad it t ½ full. Outdrs r large arenas: the bigger and heavier streamers will travel further. Fr the highest altitude and the best visual effect, lad at least 36 f the 30 streamers. Warning: sudden crss gusts f wind and trees can be yur enemy! We have fund the best visual effects when each device is laded with the same style r type f prduct. 6.3 Optinal backpressure cap 5

7 A backpressure cap can als be installed ver the end f the barrel t imprve perfrmance. If the distance isn t far, a backpressure cap is nt needed. Fr smaller lads, backpressure caps may be needed fr added backpressure. If firing n lw pressure, the 2 (5cm) cap needs 1 ½ runds f black tape arund the end f the barrel. This causes a pp and develps backpressure fr further launch. Installing the cap: Slip the cap ver and snug it dwn. With masking tape, neatly tape 1 ½ turns arund the side f the barrel and cap. After taping, rll yur hand arund the tape pressing dwn t frm an airtight seal. This will cause the backpressure t increase when fired and blw the lid ff, expelling the cntents under greater pressure. D nt tape ver the tp f the cap. Nte: the lifting cups are smetimes reusable if yu can find them, hwever the backpressure caps may need replacing if they tear when blwn ff. 6.4 Pressurizing the tank Fill tank frm yur wn air surce. Use an air cmpressr capable f up t 100 PSI, a tank f cmpressed air, r even a tire pump. Fr the mst refills f air, use CO 2 with a regulatr. Pressurize at PSI ( bar) nly! The CO 2 tank shuld nly be turned n when it is time t fire the launcher. Yu culd, in a jam, pressurize the tank with a tire pump with a tire air fitting. See the valve illustratin belw. 6.5 Firing the A/C Air Launcher TM D nt plug int pwer until finished reading these instructins. This unit is equipped with a 120VAC/24VAC transfrmer (P/N ) (r 230VAC/24VAC P/N TBA) t actuate the slenid and this will release the air pressure. Plug the transfrmer int a 120VAC utlet that is cntrlled with an ff/n switch. The slenid valve pens if there is pwer t the transfrmer, s always have the switch ff until ready t sht the prduct int the air. 6

8 Use f a mmentary switch is recmmended t help save pressure fr the next sht. If yu use a regular switch r simply plug it int the wall, yu'll release all f the pressure in the tank. (With a mmentary, it is pssible t get tw shts ut f the air tank befre refilling). 6.6 Trubleshting 1. If yu plug in the transfrmer, the slenid immediately releases the air. Always be sure yur pwer is ff befre lading and pressurizing. As sn as yu plug it in, it will fire. 2. Air is leaking and wn t hld pressure: Check all cnnectins with sap and water and tighten as necessary. 3. Even at 100 PSI (6.9 bar) pressure, the cnfetti desn t launch. Yu have packed it t tight. D nt pack tightly. Only the push cup shuld be shved t the bttm. Add cnfetti r streamers with a light pack. Never use paper dts. Always use fire retardant lightweight tissue-type cnfetti r streamers. 7. Service and Maintenance Care f yur A/C AIR LAUNCHER TM will give yu years f service It is a gd practice t test the slenid valve with a charge f air befre lading the barrel. When finished with use: Remve and inspect barrel fr cracks Check that crd is in gd cnditin, nt pinched r brken. 7

Subject t the fllwing cnditins we will repair any defect r fault in the unit if it is caused by a prven factry fault and has been advised immediately after appearance and within 30 days f delivery t the end user. Insignificant deviatins f the regular prduct quality des nt guarantee replacement rights, nr d faults r defects caused by water, by generally abnrmal envirnment cnditins r Frce Majeure. 2. Limited Warranty Service will be dne in the fllwing way: Faulty parts will be repaired r replaced (ur chice) with crrect parts. Faulty units have t be shipped t us r sent t us at custmer s expense. The RMA# has t cme with the faulty unit. 3. The custmer lses all rights fr limited warranty services, if any repairs r adjustments are dne t the units by unauthrized persns and/r if spare parts are used, which are nt apprved by us. Als nn-cmpliance with the instructins in this manual r mistakes by incrrect handling/treating f the machine, any faults and damages caused by undue frce will lead t a lss f limited warranty. 4. Freight csts t CITC when under the limited warranty services are the respnsibility f the custmer. CITC will pay freight upn return. 5. Limited warranty services d nt cause an extensin f the limited warranty time r the start f a new limited warranty time. The warranty f replaced parts ends with the limited warranty time f the whle unit. 6. If a defect/fault can nt be repaired by us in a satisfactry time, we will, within 30 days after sale f the unit, ur chice either: Replace the whle unit fr free r Refund the lesser value r Take back the whle unit and refund the purchase price, but nt mre that the usual market price at the time f refund. 7.
