5 FOREWORD This genuine dispersal retirement sale on behalf of Barratt brothers arises as a result of their retirement from active farming and many locals will know that Averill Farm is being marketed by Bagshaws as a complete dairy farm and that the excellent herd of dairy cattle has been dispersed on Friday 9 th September. The family moved into Averill Farm in February 1968 and their retirement brings forward a superb range of machinery with many of the items in the sale owned from new. The stars of the show include the Claas Arion 530 4WD which has undertaken under 1400 hours together with the Case 155 Puma with under 3000 hours on the clock. The JCB Agri Super Telehandler has been owned from new and with under 3500 hours on the clock, it will be sold with Pallet Tines. Within the grassland machinery the Strautmann Forage Wagon has completed only two seasons and has undertaken approximately 480 loads from new with the Krone Swadro 800/26 Twin Rotor Rake having being purchased in 2015 and undertaken only approximately 220 acres of work. There are an excellent range of other machines together with a large array of livestock related sundries and other effects. In addition to the items from the farm, there are various sundry vendors included within the sale and purchasers should attend and bid with confidence at this very genuine event.
