3 GENERAL NOTES Situation From Bakewell and the A6 pick up Monyash Road towards to Monyash and travel approximately 2 miles passing Green Cowden on the right. At the Y junction bear right to Sheldon and Flagg and after ¾ mile turn right signposted for Sheldon. Travel ½ mile towards the village with Manor Farm lying on the left just before the main houses. From Buxton and the A6 travelling south Sheldon Village is easily approached just before Ashford-in-the-Water and Manor Farm lies on the right at the top of the Village. To the Sale and Car Park signs will be erected on the morning of the sale. Please refer to the location map within the catalogue. Car Park - As sign posted on the sale day. 4 Export Purchasers All goods must be paid for in pounds sterling ( ). VAT on Export Goods Under regulations imposed by HM Customs & Excise, the auctioneers must account in a proper manner for VAT on export goods. Therefore, any customers who have no trading pattern record with the auctioneers must pay all VAT on the purchase price of goods on sale day. On receipt of all relevant export documentation and bills of laden (which must be received in the prescribed time limits), the auctioneers will then refund relevant VAT sums. 5 FOREWORD The sale at Manor Farm arises as a result of the sale of the property and locals will know that the Mule Sheep Flock has already been sold and left the farm. Virtually all the main items within the sale including the Massey Ferguson Tractor and Loader, Kubota, Gator and Quad Bike have been owned from new. The equipment is in excellent order and much of it has undertaken little work and purchasers should attend and bid with confidence at this excellent sale.
