3 GENERAL NOTES Situation Norris Hill Farm has good national road access via the M42/A42 and lies only 2 ¼ miles from the A511 Ashby to Swadlincote/Burton on Trent main road. From the A42 Junction 13 pick up the A511 towards Swadlincote and Burton on Trent and travel approximately 3 ½ miles to the third roundabout. Continue on the A511 and adjoining the water tower at Boundary turn left into Heath Lane signed for Blackfordby. Continue over the speed ramps down into the village passing the Black Lion Public House on the left and after approximately 2 miles Norris Hill Farm lies on the right (second farm just at the end of the houses of the village). From Short Heath and Moira turn opposite Chestnut Woodland Centre into Blackfordby Lane and continue passed the shops and Moira Primary School on the right. Travel ¼ mile out of the houses and Norris Hill Farm is the first farm on the left (adjoining the Blackfordby village metal sign). Originally a dairy unit in recent years beef cattle and arable have been successfully farmed on the unit and many locals will know that all the cattle have now already been sold. There is a superb range of classic Massey Fergusons together with associated items with the stars of the show being the 2013 Massey Ferguson 5410 Dyna 4 together with excellent Hall Engineering flat trailers which have seen very little work. The joint instruction brings forward some superb classic Massey Ferguson tractors on behalf of Mr K J & Mrs J D Gilbert of Derbyshire and as the vendors only live 2 ½ miles apart this superb event results in an exciting sale of interest to Massey Ferguson purists together with collectors and mixed and livestock farmers alike.
