2 Horizontal packaging machine GS Packaging material Films for heat sealing as BOPP, PET, and others appropriates heat sealing films. Functional concept The packs are made by means of a mandrel system, with the longitudinal sealing type finseal and lateral edges folded and sealed against the pack by means of controlled pressure end sealing stations. - Biscuits pack folded edges style, providing rigid packs with length of up to 270 mm; - Longitudinal sealing finseal and lateral edges carefully folded and sealed against the pack by means of four lateral end sealing stations; - Good-looking packs, even for delicate products; - Feeding: Direct integration to up and down stream equipments makes the packaging machine GS able to easily integrate automatic packaging systems; - Manual feeding available; - Robust and safety production, solid and strong structure with integrated electrical cabinet; - Infeed chain with incomplete portion reject device; - Electronically controlled by means of PLC (Programmable logical controller); - Easy to operate by touch screen; - Disengageable handwheel with electric safety cut-out; - Lateral end sealing stations are regulated individually; - Output of up to 90 packs / min; - Ideal for 3 shifts /day, 7 days / week; - Easy to supervise and accessible; - Smooth unwind of packaging material by means of servo motor; - Easy to integrate to automatic feeder equipment; - Function no product no wrapping material and tear tape (easy-open). The GS is applicable to biscuits pack on edge as crackers, wafers and sandwiches. 2

3 GW Version High speed wrapping machine GW version developed specially to wafer. The constructive concept of GW allows a delicate handling of wafer, of which due to fragile nature, requires a special manipulation, makes the GW ideal for this kind of product. 4 GS Twin and GZR Version High speed wrapping machine developed especially to small length and on edge packs. Packaging machine GS Twin - Produce small length packs, with maximum length of 135 mm; - Quick set-up to convert from GS Twin to GS Standard; - Work with one individual reel, double printed area, shared; - Output of up to 180 packs / min; - For square, rectangular and round biscuits. Packaging Machine GZR - Produce small length packs, with maximum length of 125 mm; - Work with two individual reels for each side of the machine; - Output of up to 180 packs / min; - For square, rectangular and round biscuits. 4

5 Production line Bellow an example of a line comprised by conveyors for costumer who needs packaging line automation. The products are carried from the oven to the packaging machines with no human intervention. The conveyors or vibratory channel receive from the oven the aligned biscuits. After this stage the product will be channeling and stacked. The next step is spread the product out and between guides feed the vibratory channels and after that, the packaging machine feeder. The feeders will bring the portioned products up to the GS machine. The last stage is providing the product in the output conveyor. From the oven ready to consume Complete line. 5
