Eileen is just a terrif c lady with a great business and she stays so calm and collected no matter what might be going on at the moment. A Downtown Florist specializes in custom weddings and Eileen has performed over 500 wedding ceremonies being a notary. Eileen belongs to 3 wire services. She has a lovely gift shop with gift ideas from stuffed animals to jewelry to chocolates! The shop she owns has been in business over 17 years and she bought it 10 years ago. She said a customer came into her shop and said he went to f ve stores and couldn t f nd a postcard so her newest product is (you ll never guess) postcards! She has a live band outside the shop on Tuesday s and Thursday s called Davis Luis Band. They are really good, I ve heard them play several times! She is located across from the big library. Asparagus-New Potato Hash from Southern Living INGREDIENTS 1 pound small red potatoes 1 pound fresh asparagus 2 shallots, minced 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice 1/3 cup crumbled farmer's cheese or queso fresco Garnish: lemon slices Prep: 20 minutes Cook: 25 minutes Cool: 15 minutes excerpted from myrecipes.com DIRECTIONS 1. Bring potatoes and salted water to cover to a boil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Cook 15 minutes or just until tender; drain well. Cool 15 minutes; cut into quarters. 2. Snap off and discard tough ends of asparagus. Cut asparagus into 1/2-inch pieces. 3. Sauté shallots in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet 1 minute. Add asparagus, thyme, salt, pepper, and lemon juice; sauté 2 to 3 minutes or until asparagus is crisp-tender. Add potatoes, and sauté 3 minutes or until mixture is thoroughly heated. Remove from heat, and sprinkle with cheese. Garnish, if desired.

3 Central Florida Landscape & Garden Fair The DecoGallery had the pleasure of being an exhibitor in this Fair. Lake County hosted the f rst annual Central Florida Landscape & Garden Fair on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Ferran Park in beautiful Eustis, Florida. The free fair provided an opportunity to meet with, and purchase goods from, local merchants that specialize in landscaping, gardening, irrigation, horticulture, fertilizer and more. Also during the two-day event, special workshops and seminars helped educate fair-goers about bestpractices for gardening and landscaping.
