4 REACHING VETERINARIANS PRE-SHOW Preliminary Program e-newsletters This is your first chance to reach not only CVMA members, but over veterinarians in Canada. This 40-page brochure is mailed to CVMA members in March, and is also posted on the CVMA website Convention section. The Preliminary Program provides detailed descriptions of the CE sessions, social events and registration information. The CVMA will be sending out four e-newsletters to ALL veterinarians in Canada (over ) between January and June 2015, and one targeted to AHTs. Your banner ad has the potential to be viewed by veterinarians (based on 2014 statistics). The e-newsletter is also posted on the CVMA Convention Facebook page and Twitter accounts, reaching veterinary technicians, hospital managers and others in the clinic team. This is your chance to connect with veterinarians who are going to go on to influence the direction of the veterinary profession! Open to all veterinarians, Canadian, American and international speakers discuss the key issues. The Summit is preceded by an Invitational Breakfast that is open to invited guests only. A great opportunity to network with the leaders of the profession! This new and unique opportunity allows a sponsor to gain exclusive exposure with over 100 decision makers and leaders within the Canadian veterinary community. Anticipated participation is between 150 to 200 veterinarians. The Awards Luncheon is held in conjunction with the CVMA s Annual General Meeting. 6 PRINT AND ELECTRONIC OPTIONS Scientific Proceedings USB Key Mobile Convention App The proceedings will only be published in a PDF format, and will be distributed to all participants at the Convention on a USB key. The proceedings will include the scientific papers for all of the CE sessions. Your company logo/ad can be incorporated onto the template so that it appears no matter which session is being read. The proceedings are also available on-line during the Convention at the internet café, and will be posted to the CVMA Website after the Convention. Reception takes place in the Exhibit Hall from 5:30 pm 7:30 pm. Recognition in the Exhibit Hall with, logos to be printed on cocktail napkins used throughout evening to serve hot & cold hors d œuvres. Cash bars will also be open. Have attendees come to your booth to pick up a complimentary drink ticket! Voucher to be placed in Convention bags, and then attendee would need to come to your booth to redeem for a drink coupon. We would like to offer the choice of two activities that will take place at the same time. A 5K Fun Run route will be a way for our participants to burn off some extra energy before continuing to sit in on CE sessions for the day. A yoga session would take place at the hotel for 45 min 1 hour. A light breakfast at the Hyatt Regency Calgary would follow both activities. One of the highlights of the CVMA Convention!
