1 Paducah Kennel Club Agility Trials June 16-18, 2017 Paducah Regional Sports Plex 6525 U.S. Highway 60, Paducah, KY ROUTES TO THE SHOW: From the North Take I-24 East crossing the Ohio River into Kentucky. Get off the interstate at Exit 4 (Paducah/Wickliffe). At the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto Highway 60. Continue on Highway 60 going west approximately 3 miles until you see the Sports Plex on your right. From the South Take I-24 West to Paducah. Get off the interstate at Exit 4 (Paducah/Wickliffe). At the bottom of the ramp, turn left onto Highway 60 and go under the interstate. Continue on Highway 60 going west approximately 3 miles until you see the Sports Plex on your right. From the West Take US Highway 60/62 from Cairo, Illinois. In Wickliffe, turn left onto Highway 60. Go approximately 22 miles until you see the exit for Barkley Regional Airport. Continue on Highway 60 for one more mile. You will see the Sports Plex on your left. MOTELS IN THE AREA MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS EARLY! There is a conference in town that weekend that my fill hotels early. However, there are no electric hook-ups. Electric hook-ups are available at the Paducah Kennel Club site which is approximately four miles from the Sports Plex. The site features several acres for dogs to exercise. RVs may come in any time after 3:00pm on Thursday. RV Hook-ups at the Paducah Kennel Club are $24 per night, reservations required. Call Lee King or Dee Felts at (270) , or kindee80@aol.com for reservations. ON CALL VET services provided by Ceglinski Animal Clinic: 5401 Blandville Road Phone: (270) Open Friday 8am 5pm & Saturday 8am Noon. All other hours the vets will be on call. From Highway 60 in front of the mall, go south on New Holt Road (between Olive Garden and Fazoli s) until it dead ends at Blandville Road (Highway 62). Turn left on Blandville Road and go approximately one mile until you reach the first stop light. Ceglinski Animal Clinic is on the left at the light. West Kentucky Emergency Veterinary Services, 2402 New Holt Road, Phone (270) After hours, Friday 5pm - Saturday 7am, Saturday noon - Monday 7am From Highway 60 in front of the mall, go south on New Holt Road (between Olive Garden and Fazoli s). The Emergency Clinic is about 1/2 mile down New Holt Road on the left in the shopping center across from Energy Fitness. Be sure you tell the answering service that you are attending the Paducah Kennel Club Agility Trial. Schedule (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) Registration... 7:00 AM Judging begins... 8:00 AM Friday and Sunday: Dogs will be run high to low. Saturday: Dogs will be run low to high. Class order: Friday: T2B, Std classes Exc/Master, Open and Novice followed by JWW classes Exc/Master, Open and Novice Saturday: JWW classes Premier, Exc/Master, Open and Novice followed by Std classes Exc/Master, Open and Novice Sunday: Std classes Premier, Exc/Master, Open and Novice followed by JWW classes Exc/Master, Open and Novice Preferred classes will be run in conjunction with regular classes.

2 EXHIBITOR NOTES: No check in required. Anyone that with a dog that needs to be measured is responsible for doing so prior to running in their first class. There will be an AKC Volunteer Measuring Official on site to measure for height cards. The Trial site will be available to exhibitors to set up from 5 to 8 pm on Thursday. Exhibitors will NOT be allowed to set up in the building before this time. No exceptions. Refunds will not be issued for any amount equaling $5 or less. Move-ups must be provided to the Trial Secretary in writing (fax, or US Mail) by 6:00 pm on the Monday prior to the trial. Move ups resulting from this trial will be accepted day to day. Run for Glory Veteran's Run Friday, June 16, 2017 The Paducah Kennel Club supports the work of Chase Away K9 Cancer to find a cure for canine cancer, so many of our dogs will live longer, healthier lives. As a special event, we will be honoring retired and ill dogs with a special run after the conclusion of all classes on Friday afternoon. The Run For Glory honors our special canine friends who no longer are able to compete. Dogs are allowed to run any part of a special JWW course at any height including with bars on the ground. Each dog and handler team receives a large ribbon in honor of their support of Chase Away K9 Cancer. The entry fee is a minimum $15.00 donation to Chase Away K9 Cancer. The entire entry fee/donation benefits canine cancer research. Please fill out the form below and send with your check made out to Chase Away K9 Cancer to: Cathy Crecelius, 306 North 8 th St., Paducah, KY All entry fees/donations are tax deductable. CHASE AWAY K9 CANCER We will be having a basket raffle with proceeds going to Chase Away K9 Cancer. We need your help. Please bring a basket in honor of someone you have lost, or survivor of Cancer (human or canine) you can do as a group or individual. Cera Reusser has graciously donated some items for the raffle. Ideas: regional theme, summer, dog agility items, wine basket, gas cards etc. This should be a fun way to raise some money for canine cancer research!! Please help us out with this great cause!
