4 04 KettenWulf was founded in Kückelheim, Germany, in Thanks to owerful economic growth in the second half of the 20th century, the comany develoed from a small sized factory into a leading roducer of chains and srockets. Regardless of which conveyance task is involved, from automobile manufacture, through bulk material transort and extending to wood rocessing - KettenWulf has the solution. 12 12 RC KettenWulf RC roller chains KettenWulf RC and HS roller chains KettenWulf Wear Resistant and Reinforced Roller Chains KettenWulf RC Roller Chains are characterized by seamless, cold extruded bushes, case hardened ins and tightly controlled and recise roduction rocesses. These factors guarantee an increased wear resistance as well as increased recision in length of each chain. KettenWulf RC - roller chains 1. Shot-eened lates, temered 2. Seamless, case-hardened rollers for high resistance to wear 3. Seamless, cold-extruded bushes 4. Wear-otimized ins, case-hardened A high shear strength and core strength are gained from utilizing alloyed and case hardened steel ins. Additional grinding of the ins imroves the surface finish, allowing for reduced abrasion between the in and bush. Seamless bushings, comared to bushings created from steel ie, rovide a higher degree of symmetry and roundness. These attributes allow for the length of the chain to be more exactly controlled. Additionally, the bushes are case hardened to rovide a harder surface to allow for increased wear resistance. Imroved fatigue strength of the chain results from ress fits, strict tolerances and increased surface strength. Press fits are achieved through use of recision stamed lates, ground ins and ground bushes, while shot-eening of the material increases the surface strength of the material. The combination of these rocesses results in a chain with greater fatigue strength. KettenWulf s Heavy Series (HS) roller chains, characterized by thicker link lates and highly temered ins and seamless bushes, are utilized in heavy load alications due to their considerably higher fatigue strength.

18 18 HFS KettenWulf HFS roller chains KettenWulf HFS roller chains KettenWulf Roller Chains for High Loading Alications Due to increasing demands in the drive technology field, the High Fatigue Strength (HFS) series was develoed. These chains have an otimized fatigue strength and resistance wear due to the high load alications the chains were designed for The ins in HFS roller chains are highly alloyed, case hardened steel which give the ins greater shear strength and a longer flex fatigue life. Additionally, a high quality surface is bonded to the ins during cold drawing of the ins. Also, the ins have a high wear resistance due to grinding of the in surface. The seamless bush rovides a more uniformly round surface than steel ie, which gives the final roduct a more recise length, increased wear resistance and minimal feed extension. The good bore quality of the link late holes, a rerequisite for a good ress fit, gives the HFS roller chain its extraordinary fatigue strength. 30 30 LF KettenWulf LF roller chains KettenWulf LF roller chains KettenWulf s Lubrication Free Roller Chains KettenWulf s Lubrication Free (LF) roller chains are characterized by a secial oil imregnated sinter bush. The secial imregnated bush in conjunction with the inchromised in forms a highly wear resistant and long lasting chain. The lubrication is initially activated through friction and elevated temeratures, while a light initial lubrication is alied during roduction for rotective uroses. The link lates are also coated to add to the corrosion resistance. The advantage of this technology is the lubrication between bush and rotective roller, which is locked in the sinter bush. The load carrying caacity of LF chain is slightly less than standard roller chain with regular maintenance. The oerational temerature range of the LF chains is -30 C to +120 C. The functional dimensions of LF chain corresond to ISO 606, however the bush diameters are slightly larger than standard chain. Additionally, in order to guarantee the fracture load, the late heights are also dimensionally larger. However, these changes in dimensions do not affect the oeration of the machines. 34 34 OX KettenWulf O-ring or X-ring roller chains KettenWulf O-ring or X-ring roller chains KettenWulf Seal Roller Chains KettenWulf s O-ring and X-ring roller chains originate in motorcycle sort, and are considered the ultimate driving chains. Precise manufacturing rocesses and secial materials guarantee highly dynamic load carrying caacities of the chain. The chain link lates are lubricated using fully synthetic, high erformance in a vacuum rocess. The links are rotected from outside dirt enetration by the O or X-ring. At the same time, the ring gasket ensures no grease escaes from the articulated link. The O or X-ring roller chains are emloyed in esecially fast running drives as well as drives that have high dynamic stresses. Also, the sealed chain link offers secial advantages for use in dusty environments. The oerational temerature range is -10 C to +60 C. To act as rotection for the material conveyed, an elastomer rofile of nitride butadiene rubber is vulcanized onto the chain in varying rofiles and heights. This nitride butadiene rubber has a Shore A hardness of 75+/-5, and can be used in temeratures from -40 C to 130 C. Additionally, these CP chains have excellent gas, oil and grease reulsion, high abrasion and remature aging resistance as well as a high tearing strength. The construction of gall tye chains enables the absortion of tensile loads as well as the ossible transfer of tensile forces to srockets. Due to the characteristics of gall chain, it is suited for use as a load and transort chain at low seeds. Flyer chains are used mainly in the absortion and transfer of forces within the system and machine construction.
