11 laming systems Recommendations/Installation/Warranty eneral To be able to transmit the indicated holding forces, the connection to the carriage(s) of the linear guide system used should be as rigid as ossible. The mounting surface of the inlam is always at the same height as the mounting surfaces of the carriages (low or high) used in the linear guide due to the use of high or low fixing elements. Secial heights of inlam as well as models adated to lower rail sizes can be delivered on request. Installation and assembly ir Pressure is alied to the inlam and it is oened (Tye S, SK) or it is ushed over the rail without air ressure (Tye S) and then attached to the mounting surface via the fixing screws. The screws are only tightened by hand at first. The air ressure is now reduced to 0 ar (Tye S, SK) or increased to the required ressure (Tye S), thereby activating the claming mechanism. This rocedure centres the inlam relative to the rail. The mounting surface for fixing the inlam must be erfectly machined geometrically and must be flat. heck the air suly, line lengths and feeds and both check and test the valve selection. raking element (brake linings) that are greased achieve arox. 60% of the holding forces. laming elements (steel linings) that are greased achieve 100% of the holding forces.
