9 8 9 ENGINES & TRANSMISSIONS Higher erformance and lower consumtion 4 km/h, 18% consumtion, fan drive The TF Comact range comes with two different engines: 55kW/75H with 2.9 litres and 9kW/122H with 3.6 litres, both Tier 4 Interim. The twoseed hydrostatic transmission adds 4 km/h, unique in its category. All the versions are also equied with ED (Eco ower Drive) for electronic management of the thermal engine, heling to reduce consumtion by 18%. The ED lus version offers "Seed Control" mode, which memorises the machine's movement seed and kees it constant (ideal for yard handling oerations), and the ECO function, which limits the rm for further economic savings. In combination with the electronic joystick, the ED To system offers automatic Diesel seed control in relation D B to joystick movements on order to increase telescoic C boom movement seed, otimise machine erformance A and minimise consumtion. 11 1 11 NEW CAB New cab with record comfort One cab for two heights AIRCONDITIONING SYSTEM The new evolved ergonomic cab with unaralleled comfort with its 11 mm in width is standard on the Comact range. The lowered version ("Low rofile"), 22 mm, is available as an otion. No sace will be too low! 13 12 13 AXLES & BRAKES New generation of Merlo lanetary axles Durability and reliability Our Comact telehandlers are equied with a new generation of lanetary axles. conceived, designed and built entirely. The solution with lanetary reducers was chosen to kee the machine's height as high as ossible. The result of exerience acquired on the field, the axles consist of a central cast iron body, lanetary reducers and differential locking. Braking is ensured by 4 dry disc brakes keyed onto the axle shafts, allowing a remarkable reduction in friction and, consequently, consumtion. To comlete the secifications offered, the Comacts telehandlers are equied with a arking disc brake which is automatically engaged when the diesel engine is switched off, or engaged directly by the oerator in the event of work on sloing surfaces. The new axles ensure an excellent ground clearance of ±35 mm (45/72 tyres), making it ossible to ass obstacles with agility.
