The proper crimping pressure is ensured by a ratchet which automatically controls the crimping force. Five different types YHT, YNT, YDT, YG and YS are available and can be selected according to the type of terminal to be crimped. 3 Pneumatic Tools (YA series) These pneumatic tools operate on compressed air ranging from 75 to 5 PSI (5.0 to 6.0 kg/cm ){500 to 600 kpa} for quick and accurate crimping, and are very efficient for continuous crimping. The dies are classified according to the type and size of the solderless terminal. Refer to the table of appropriate tools at the back of this catalog for information on each of the dies. Dies should be ordered separately. The die can be easily changed by using the two dis setting pins and the tool provided. 9 Semi-automatic Crimping Machine AP-F6 This machine is loaded with tape-on solderless terminals which are wound on a reel. Crimping is performed automatically by operation of a foot switch or touch sensor. Each crimping operation requires only one second, so more than,000 terminals can be crimped per hour during continuous operation. Operation of the machine requires almost no training, and the machine can be easily moved. Dies should be ordered separately.
