Delivery will be made to Hobbit s Glen Golf Club, located at Willowbottom Drive, Columbia. Pricing must include all applicable taxes and freight. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. Ethics in Procurement: By submitting a bid, the Vendor agrees to adhere to the Columbia Association s policy on ethics in purchasing. This policy prohibits an employee and any immediate family member from receiving incentives, gifts, gratuities or favors of any kind from Consultants seeking business or engaged in business transactions with the Columbia Association. Neither the employee nor any of the employee s immediate family had or will have involvement in or influence in any way the selection of a Vendor to do business with the Columbia Association whereby the employee or the employee s immediate family will receive personal benefit. 2 Sustainability: The Columbia Association is committed to the procurement of goods and services that have less detrimental environmental and social impacts than competing goods and services. IFBs and RFPs shall endeavor, to the extent possible, to specify sustainable goods and services, and at the same time consider the value received and benefit to the environment in return for the expenditure. Goods and services should, for example, be more energy efficient, conserve water, reduce the use of fuel, generate less pollution and toxins, use recycled materials, and/or minimize waste. Payment: Payment will be made by the Columbia Association within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a properly prepared invoice, and acceptance of same by CA. Payment terms are Net 30 days. Delivery: Utility vehicles shall be delivered to Hobbit s Glen Golf Course, located at Willowbottom Drive, Columbia. Delivery shall be made within thirty (30) days of bid award. Delivery must be coordinated in advance with Nick Mooneyhan, Director of Golf Maintenance, by calling (410) Specifications: GENERAL STATEMENT: It is the intent of this specification to cover the basic requirements of a welldesigned commercial Golf Course Utility Vehicle. The unit must be capable of withstanding its primary purpose as stated. Appurtenances and/or accessories not herein mentioned, but necessary to furnish a complete and fully operational unit must be included, and must conform to the best practice known to the industry in strength, quality, and design, and will be subject to these specifications in full. All equipment furnished must meet or exceed OSHA, MOSHA, FEDERAL and STATE regulations, as well as all applicable ANSI standards. BID ITEM #1 One (1) Golf Course Utility Vehicle, Toro Workman HDX, W/Bed Model or Equivalent ENGINE: 32.5 HP Electric Start Kubota CLUTCH: 7.5 clutch and pressure plate INSTRUMENTATION: Fuel and coolant temperature gauges, Hour meter, Oil pressure, check engine and battery charge indicator lights, Tachometer and speedometer. ALTERNATOR: 60 amp with electronic regulator. TIRES: Front:20 x9 12,6-ply rating, turf tread, Rear:24 x12 12,6-ply rating, turf tread. COOLING SYSTEM: Aluminum radiator with 10 fins per inch dual pass. Right side mounted with removable screen for debris cleaning. Thermal controlled DC electric fan. Transmission housing doubles as hydraulic reservoir with outlet screen and external filter. 3RD HIGH LOCKOUT: Interlock key switch that prevents engine from running in 3rd gear, high range. DIFFERENTIAL LOCK: Manual engage rear differential lock. 4WD SYSTEM: Fully automatic on-demand, bi-directional system. Uses dual bidirectional clutches. In event of rear tire slippage, clutches transmit power proportionally to front wheel with highest traction. FRAME: Steel space frame front frame and C-channel rear frame. STEERING: Hydraulic power steering with with steering valve coupled to hydraulic cylinder with thru shaft. HIGH FLOW HYDRAULICS KIT: Provides 8 gpm (30.3 liter) at 2000 psi hydraulic flow in a separate circuit to power certain attachments and accessories (standard on TC models). HAND THROTTLE: Mechanical throttle and speed limit control that provides constant RPM for stationary attachments or a controlled maximum speed for applications such as spraying or spreading. 2 RECEIVER HITCH KIT: Provides a 2 square receiver to enable a drawbar hitch.
