I_ j /~ SUBMITTING DEPARTMENT: Department of Public Services, Engineering Division flfv CITY MANAGER APPROVAL: ~ BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The acceptance of the streets within Orchard Hills West subdivision is being presented for City Council consideration elsewhere on this agenda. The approved site plan for the subdivision includes the installation of traffic control devices, such as no parking signs, stop signs, and yield signs, within the subdivision (see attached map). Traffic control orders are required under the Uniform Traffic Code to enforce traffic control signs that have been installed on public streets. Therefore, staff has reviewed the installation of the traffic control signs and has prepared the following traffic control orders for approval by City Council. TCO No. Description Eastbound Malott Drive to stop at Meadowbrook Road No parking along the north side of Malott Drive between Meadowbrook Road and 120 feet east of the centerline of Barchart Drive No parking along the south side of Malott Drive from a point 80 feet east of the centerline of Barchart Drive to Meadowbrook Road Southwestbound Barchart to stop at Malott Drive Southbound Silvery Lane to sto12_ at Malott Drive RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approval of Traffic Control Orders through for traffic control signs within Orchard Hills West.
