5 City of Stevens Point 1515 Strongs Avenue Stevens Point, WI Public Works Engineering Department: Phone: Fax: Streets Department: Phone: Fax: September 5, 2017 To: From: Re: Board of Public Works Scott Beduhn, Director of Public Works Ordinance Amendments The Ordinance Amendments of Section 9.05 are intended to address ordinance conflicts surrounding the University and Hospital. While evaluating the placement of multi-space parking meters, several conflicts were identified where multiple ordinances existed for the same portion of roadway. The amendments are intended to address these conflicts by establishing a single ordinance that can then be identified and enforced. The amendments will also address changes to accommodate the new multi-space metered parking zones where conflicting ordinances would otherwise have resulted. For reference, the location for each amendment is identified on the attached map. If there are any questions, please don t hesitate to contact me. Thank you. 5 stevenspoint.com
