A. Previously Reported Projects: 1. BC-Washington 500 kv Tie- Line Upgrade Scheduled in Service Date: October March

2 A project has been raised to increase the thermal capabilities of the two 500 kv circuits between Ingledow substation in BC and Custer substation in Washington to 3000 A each. A WECC Path Rating process has been initiated for this upgrade. This project was completed. 2. Selkirk Transformer Addition Scheduled in Service Date: September 2011 A new 1,200 MVA 500/230 kv transformer (T4) is being added at the Selkirk 500 kv substation in the South Interior of the province. SEL T4 was energized in December Ashton Creek Substation Shunt Capacitor Banks Scheduled in Service Date: October 2010 This project, adding two 500 kv 250 MVAr switched shunt capacitor banks in Ashton Creek Substation, is under construction. This project was completed. 4. Series compensation on 500 kv lines from The definition phase for series compensation on the two 500 kv lines between Mica and Nicola has been initiated. The scheduled in-service date is delayed to October The definition phase for series compensation on two 500 kv lines, one is from Ashton Creek to Selkirk and another one is from Ashton Creek tovassuax in South Interior, has started. The scheduled in-service date is defered to October New ILM 500 kv Line Scheduled in Service Date: October 2014 The new line is planned to provide incremental transmission transfer capability from the Interior of British Columbia to the load centers in the Lower Mainland. This new 500 kv transmission circuit, 5L83, will be approximately 250 km long and will run between the Nicola and Meridian substations. 5L83 will be 50% series compensated at or near American Creek Capacitor Station. Technical planning studies have been completed and the project is currently undergoing definition phase. 6. Selkirk Substation Shunt Reactor Scheduled in Service Date: September March

3 A 500 kv 123 MVar shunt reactor is being planned for Selkirk 500 kv substation. This project was energized in Feb Major Generation Addition(> 200 MW) Plant Capacity In Service Date Status Revelstoke G5 500 MW Dec (In completed Service) Waneta Expansion 435 MW Mar 2013 In progress East Toba and Montrose Creek Hydroelectric 236 MW Jul 2010 (In service) completed 8. Nicola station reconfiguration Scheduled in Service Date: Oct 2014 A project is planned to reconfigure Nicola station, a critical station that collects power flows from the South Interior before transmitting the power to Lower Mainland, to prevent total lost of the station and increase the reliability of the transfer of power to the Lower Mainland. 9. Cranbrook station to Invermere station Second 230 kv line. Scheduled in Service Date: Defered, in service date is unkown This new transmission line project in the East Kootenay area is planned to reinforce the radial transmission system to serve load in the area reliably. This project is deferred indefinitely, please remove it from this report in the future. 10. Saltery Bay Substation. Scheduled in Service Date: June 1, 2010 This new substation project in Saltery Bay, BC is currently under construction to facilitate interconnection of East Toba/Montrose Creek project. It contains two 150 MVA 230/138 kv transformers, with one new and the other one moving from Malaspina substation. Saltery Bay is located 26 km from Malaspina substation. Also, as part of the project, the line section of 1L48 from Malaspina to Saltery Bay (26 km) will be operated at 230 kv. Presently, the line is operated at 138 kv level, although it was designed for 230 kv. The project was completed. 11. Harewood West Substation. 3 March

4 Scheduled in Service Date: March 31, 2011 This new substation is part of Central Vancouver Island (CVI) re-inforcement project, currently under construction. It taps into the existing 2L123 and 2L128 at Harewood West, with two 300 MVA 230x138 transformers. This project was currently partially completed and has been in service with one transformer since Oct Invermere to Goldon 230 kv line. Scheduled in Service Date: October 2012 This new 230 kv transmission line project in the upper Columbia Valley area is planned to reinforce the radial transmission system to serve load in the area reliably. The new 230kV line is to be built from INV to Kicking horse substation, with the total length of 120 km. B. Additional Projects (Not Reported Previously): 13. Northwest Transmission Line (NTL) Project. Scheduled in Service Date: December 2013 The proposed approximately 340 km Northwest Transmission Line (NTL) is a 287 kilovolt (kv) transmission line running from Skeena Substation near Terrace to a new substation that would be built near Bob Quinn Lake. This project would provide a reliable supply of clean power to potential industrial developments, as well as remote northwest communities who currently obtain their power from diesel generators. 14. Dawson Creek / Chetwynd Area Transmission (DCAT) Project. Scheduled in Service Date: October 2013 The Dawson Creek / Chetwynd Area Transmission Project (DCAT) consists a two 60 km 230kV lines running from a new 230 / 138 kv substation named Sundance Substation (SLS) to Bear Mountain Terminal (BMT) and a new 138 kv line from BMT to Dawson Creek Substation (DAW). This project would provide additional transmission capacity into the Dawson Creek area to support new unconventional gas production loads. 15. Site C Major Generation Addition. Scheduled in Service Date: Dec The Site C project involves building the third dam on the Peace River in northeast B. There will be six 150 MW generators, with the total capacity of 900 MW. Site C is now in the 4 March

5 regulatory review phase, this phase is expected to take about two years, and it is anticipated that Site C will be available for domestic electricity need by Transmission Lines from Site C to Peace Canyon. Scheduled in Service Date: Dec Build two 500 KV lines from Site C to Peace Canyon. 17. Mica G5 and G6 Addition. Scheduled in Service Date: G5 in Oct. 2014, G6 in Oct The plan is to build two 500 MW units at the current Mica generation plant. 18. Other Transmission Projects (Urban system upgrade in Vancouver area): Vancouver City Central Transmission Project (230 kv) Scheduled in Service Date: April 2012 Construction of a new substation and new transmission lines. New station: Mount Pleasant Substation New lines: 2L20 (3.4 KM) Cathedral Square to Mount Pleasant 2L44 (4.8 KM) Mount Pleasant to Sperling Fraser valley West Area Reinforcement (230 kv) Scheduled in Service Date: October 2014 Construction of a new substation and new transmission lines. New station: Fleetwood Substation Splitting 2L75 Ingledow to McLellan to 2 lines. New lines: 2L75 (8 KM) Ingledow to Fleetwood 2L81 (8 KM) Fleetwood to McLellan West End Substation (230 kv) Scheduled in Service Date: October 2019 Construction of a new substation and new transmission lines. New station: West End substation Splitting 2L32 Horne Payne to Cathedral Square to 2 lines. 2L32 (7.5 KM) Horne Payne to Murrin 2L30 (1.2 KM) Murrin x Cathedral Square Reterminate 2L31 from Murrin x Cathedral Square to Murrin x West End (3.9 KM) Add new line 2L25 (1.7 KM) Cathedral Square x West End. Metro North Area Reinforcement (230 kv) Scheduled in Service Date: October March
