1 ADDENDUM NO. 1 PAGE 1 Norfolk International Airport Replace Existing 300kW Diesel Generator Delta Project No September 22, 2017 The Norfolk Airport Authority (the Owner ) hereby issues this Addendum Number One to its Invitation to Bid ( Bid ) as named above. The information contained in this Addendum shall become part of the Bid and, to the extent specified, shall amend and supersede the similar information in the original Bid document. All other terms, provisions and conditions of the Bid shall remain unchanged. The Bid Documents shall be amended by the following: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION PROVIDED AT PRE-BID MEETING: 1. The transfer switch for the generator is located inside the airfield electrical vault. 2. During the site visit to the airfield electrical vault building it was mentioned that an overhead electrical line crosses right in front of the generator pad, see attached existing site plan for the building.

2 REFER TO GENERATOR SET BILL OF MATERIAL Replace the description: One (01) New Outdoor Caterpillar Diesel-Fueled Packaged Generator Set Model C9 with Brushless Generator, 300kW Standby Rated, 0.8P.F., 480/277V, Three-Phase, 60 Hertz at 1800 RPM With the following: One (01) New Outdoor Diesel-Fueled Packaged Generator Set with Brushless Generator, 300kW Standby Rated, 0.8P.F., 480/277V, Three-Phase, 60 Hertz at 1800 RPM

8 Introductions and Attendees This Presentation and sign in sheet will be issued via an Addendum. Questions must be submitted in writing, answers will be issued by addendum to all plan holders. Sign in sheet

9 Project Overview Provide one 300 kw replacement generator to be located at airfield electrical vault Remove and Provide temporary generator prior to removing existing generator dispose of existing generator Supply all ancillary materials, labor, transportation, etc. as necessary to fully remove and replace existing diesel fuel generator. 13 TSA Security Requirements 1. Badging Security identification (SIDA) badges are required for individuals engaged in work in the Airport Operations Area (AOA); this includes a criminal background check, fingerprinting, and a $50 fee for each person. SIDA Badges should be acquired for all persons who will be working in the AOA. This includes the Concourses and aircraft apron. 2. Escorting Requirements Properly badged personnel with an ESCORT decal are required to escort un badged temporary personnel and deliveries of materials, only. The ESCORT must be responsible for escorting the delivery person at ALL TIMES while within the AOA and insure they have left the AOA secure area. Escorting is NOT intended to substitute as a reason for the Contractor s full time personnel not to be processed for their own SIDA badge. Activities in the SIDA areas are constantly monitored by TSA and Airport Police.

14 TSA Security Requirements 3. Tools and Materials storage All persons working in the Secure Area (AOA) are responsible for their tools AT ALL TIMES. Tools are to remain in their immediate possession and work area, or be secured in a locked Contractor Materials storage area. This includes public areas and on the aircraft apron. Unattended tools are a serious violation of TSA regulations and can lead to revocation of an individual s SIDA badge or worse. Activities in the SIDA areas are constantly monitored by TSA and Airport Police.
