Organizatinal Overview: FHI 360 is a nnprfit human develpment rganizatin dedicated t imprving lives in lasting ways by advancing integrated, lcally driven slutins. FHI 360 staff includes experts in health, educatin, nutritin, envirnment, ecnmic develpment, civil sciety, gender equality, yuth, research and technlgy creating a unique mix f capabilities t address tday's interrelated develpment challenges. FHI 360 is implementing the USAID Jrdan Lcal Enterprise Supprt Prject (LENS), which is a fiveyear prject t encurage the lng-term ecnmic grwth and develpment ptential f underserved Jrdanian cmmunities. USAID LENS brings lcal gvernments, business wners, and key cmmunity grups t cllabrate tgether n initiatives that will bst ecnmic develpment and create jbs in their cmmunities. These initiatives are fcused n supprting the grwth f micr and small enterprises (MSEs) and inclusive f wmen, yuth and lw-incme grups.

2 2. Descriptin: FHI 360 n behalf f USAID LENS Prject is seeking qutatins fr venue rental t hst Jrdan Fd Week 2018 event in Amman as described in C. STATEMENT OF WORK f this RFQ. Venues may be subject t inspectin visits. 3. Statement f Wrk Thrugh cmprehensive research and analysis, USAID LENS ascertained that significant ecnmic pprtunity fr lcal ecnmic develpment and MSE grwth exists in the fd-prcessing sectr and thrugh turism services ffered at the lcal cmmunity level. At a prduct-level, USAID LENS wrks twards strengthening lcal cmpetitiveness f fd prducts in Jrdan, achieving ecnmic grwth by imprving the quality, accessibility, and prductivity f the fd prcessing industry, and increasing demand fr lcally surced and prcessed gds. In t the turism area, the prject supprts the develpment f adventure and experiential turism services at a farm, village and hme-based business level. T reinfrce these effrts, USAID LENS has als been wrking at the plicy level t supprt the frmalizatin f Hme Based Businesses (HBBs) that cmprise an imprtant part f the fd prcessing sectr. Because f all these initiatives, and t further prmte the imprtance f Jrdanian-made prducts, and the imprtance f supprting lcally-wned businesses, USAID LENS is planning t launch a majr event called Jrdan Fd Week; a week-lng natinal celebratin f lcal cuisine, culinary traditin, fresh prduce and gastrnmic experiences. The event, scheduled fr April 2018, represents the largest cnventin f farmers, artisanal fd prducers, restaurants, htels and ther businesses in the fd industry f its kind in Jrdan. The event will explre the diversity f Jrdanian cuisine, the quality, character and traditins that have shaped the culture f Jrdan s gastrnmy. 4. Required Deliverables The fferr can suggest any lcatin in Amman, Jrdan that meets the fllwing requirements: 4.1 Lcatin: Within central Amman, Jrdan 4.2 Duratin: 7 days 4.2 Date: 18 th 24 th, Timing: frm 2:00PM 10:00PM. 4.4 Estimated number f attendees per day: persns. 4.5 Exhibitin Requirements: The venue prvider must authrize accmmdating fd bth utsurced frm lcal hmebased businesses t be live cked, tasted, and sld inside the exhibitin hall during the 7 days event. The Offerr shuld take int cnsideratin that live cking will take place during the event, therefre live cking statins will be assembled in the venue The fferr shall allw the sale and cking f fd 2

Adequate parking space r Valet services that can accmmdate a minimum f 500 vehicles Facilitate access 4-5 days prir the exp fr the installatin f bths and equipment's 4.8 Services: Hurly cleaning service available during the 7 days duratin f the event Waste bins must be placed in all areas arund the exhibitin space Security must be available arund the clck in all area s which the event will take place A lead persn must be assigned by the venue prvider fr any requirements and technical prblems that might ccur during the days f the event 4.9 Prmtinal : The venue prvider must authrize placing prmtinal material n the walls f the venue, nting that all the material that will be used are safe and easy t remve and will nt leave any permanent marks The venue prvider must nt hld any related events t this activity during the Jrdan Fd Week event dates Allw placing f large display items inside the hall (i.e. large bths, hanging banners, etc.). 5. Prpsal Frmat Instructins t Bidders Qutes must specify and include cnfirmatin f the fllwing: REQUIRED: Vendrs shall submit Annex I - Attachments 1 and 2, Annex II and Annex III filled, cmpleted and signed. REQUIRED: Vendrs shall submit a cst prpsal (attached: Annex III) that matches the prpsal in Annex II, that shws that break dwn in detail fr all the needed services, and ffered line items per day. REQUIRED: Vendrs shall prvide illustrative maps f the lcatin prpsed, in additin t the dimensins f the space. REQUIRED: Vendrs shall state any restrictins regarding fd items sell, display, and cking, in Annex II. REQUIRED: Vendrs shall state any restrictins applicable t display f prmtinal material, in Annex II. Natinality f Bidder. Offerr must be a legally registered entity in Jrdan, and prvide their legal registratin and vcatinal license. Prices shall be net (nt including) f custms and sales tax. A frmal cnfirmatin letter frm the Sales Tax Department certifying USAID LENS' legal statute exemptin frm Sales Tax will be prvided t vendr prir t delivery. 3

Reserved Rights Financing f awards resulting frm this slicitatin will be thrugh the U.S. Agency fr Internatinal Develpment (USAID). Awards financed by USAID may be subject t prir apprval requirements. The authrized gegraphic cde fr this prcurement is Cde 937 which means the U.S., Jrdan, and develping cuntries. The list f USAID-apprved develping cuntries can be btained frm this internet address: Items must be available fr purchase in a Cde 937 cuntry at time f cntract signing. The Bidder must be registered fr business and perating in a Cde 937 cuntry. FHI 360 is a tax-exempt rganizatin; therefre, n taxes shall be assessed n the price f the items. Tax exemptin certificate is available upn request. FHI 360 cmplies with U.S. Sanctins and Embarg laws and Regulatins including Executive Order n Terrrist Financing, which effectively prhibit transactins with persns r entities that cmmit, threaten t cmmit r supprt terrrism. Any persn r entity that participates in this bidding prcess, either as a prime r sub t the prime, must certify as part f the bid that he r it is nt n the U.S. Department f Treasury Office f Freign Assets Cntrl (OFAC) Specially Designated Natinals (SDN) List and is eligible t participate.
