2 The story of the tram transport 1/3 The beginning... The first tram started on 10 June The traffic was launched by 9 motor and 4 trailer between 'Tiszai pályaudvar' and 'Veres templom'.
3 The story of the tram transport 2/3 Previous reconstruction The major part of the rails was rebuilt from 1983 to 1986, so the modernization has become actual.
4 The story of the tram transport 3/3 Recent past On two lines with 11,6 km rails, 18 'Tatra' and 18 'SGP' type trams and 6 trailers were operated the tram transport.
5 Why important the development of tram transport? Rails were out of repair Platfoms were narrow Old vehicles Road transport was not separated from travellers
6 Main elements of the project complete reconstruction of the existing tracks (9,6 km), Tram line were longer by 1,4 km to 'Felső-Majláth', 31 piece modern, low-floor vehicles were purchased, corresponding to the equal chance regulation new, wide platforms, shelters were built, modernise the vehicle park locate modern, passenger informative systems
7 The prospective results of the project Public transport has become preferable Increase service level Modern passenger informative systems Travelling by tram will become safer (camera, emergency systems) Barrier free conditions will improve on vehicles and on the platforms Energy saving operation Less noise Modern new stations Increase feeling of convenience (shelters)

HUF 1 billion, modification of the MFB loan consortioum contract is required ) Subsidy: 89, 509 % (HUF ), from that EU subsidy (Cohesion Fund): 76,082 % Domestic support (KözOP): 13,427 %

24 Aim of the project The aim of the project is to level up the bus service in contrast to the road transport: Using modern technical possibilities in passenger informative system Informative columns on 54 bus stops and 6 junctions GPS-controlled traffic control by using GPS systems on the buses
25 Possibilities: Bus purchasing In 2013 we planned to purchase 75 pcs CNG type bus : o HUF 3,9 billion MFB appropriation o ~ HUF 1 billion EU subsidy Reconstruction of the vehicle repair hall: oregard to the regulations Settlement of CNG service station on the central depo oinvestment costs probably: HUF 250 billion oto service our own fleet o Public service station
