Larger glass edge covers must be agreed with the glass supplier with regard to liability and warranty. For eternal spandrel glazing, the outer pane should be made of toughened safety glass for thermal stress reasons. The outer pane must be capable of withstanding wind and snow loads. The glazing guidelines of the double glazing manufacturer must be observed. The technical regulations for preventing glazing from falling out must be observed. The Hadamar glazing regulations must be observed. Note on self cleaning glazing Gaskets for the use of self cleaning glazing such as Pilkington Active glass and SGG BIOCLEAN glazing made by Saint-Gobain Germany GmbH are supplied to special order with silicon free lubricant. Seal corner areas carefully with Schüco Fle 2 ( / ). Where glass thicknesses differ, tolerance equalisation can be achieved through the use of appropriate gaskets or by shortening the plastic spandrel panel profile. 13 Accessories PVC U attachment profiles (infill panels) Attachment profiles black plastic These PVC-U profiles can be used in areas where the façade is attached to the building structure. They are inserted into the gasket locating grooves of the profiles. They also enable the fabrication of thermally insulated panels. The PVC-U profiles distribute the pressure from the screw connections of the pressure plates or cover cap profiles. The pre treatment of dry gaskets with wa allows them to be inserted easily, especially helpful with large gaskets and coupling gaskets. The wa is applied to the gaskets or profiles with a brush. Rub the surface of the wa with the brush and apply the activated wa. Silicone free Water soluble Viscous Store in original container in a cool and dry place. Protect from frost, heat and direct sunlight. Contents: 4 kg Joint seal Anthracite/black, mm. Double sided, self adhesive polyurethane foam tape. For use in façades, e.g. as spacer to be bonded into structural glazing façade. Good UV and weather resistance.
