It is encapsulated, evacuated, safe against flooding and can be rotated to any position. Tere is no possibility of te transparent cover becoing coated. Te readout is terefore not inibited in any way. Extensive lists of addresses ad to be cobed troug and eters ad to be read in flooded anoles or oter locations wic are difficult to access. Under suc aggravating conditions, incorrect readings cannot be ruled out eiter, and incorrect entries can also result wen data is being processed. Today suc sources of error can be avoided and te data reading can be realized quickly and econoically. Wit te FLYPPER odule it is no longer necessary to access an oles. A special seal in te devices guarantees flooding safety to protection type IP 68. In te event of fire, for exaple, at a tap position were norally only very sall quantities of water are drawn per unit tie, a ig rate is required. In tis event, te switcing valve opens and te volue wic as ed troug is recorded by te larger eter. Our cobination eters are caracterised by ig accuracy of easureent even in te switcover range, as well as by iniu ead loss at axiu load. Tey are siple in design, durable in operation and are relatively ligt in weigt. One furter benefit is teir overall lengt wic is identical wit te standard WS eters, wic are also used ere. Tis series tus offers every advantage of te WS series. Bot types can be extended wit te adjustable adapter piece. It is available in sizes. Te ain eter is a dry dial eter in eac case, wile te sall auxiliary eter is a wet dial eter. Looking in te direction of, te auxiliary eter is fitted to te rigt of te ain eter or alternatively in special designs to te left. Te auxiliary eter is better tan class C. Te cobination eters are intended for use wit cold water up to 30 C. Te fitting position is orizontal. Te axiu operating pressure is 6 bar. Te flanges are bored to DIN 2; PN 0. All eters ave EC type approval and are certified to EO6. Model IP 68 is designed for installation in te anole. Te counter is safe against flooding. 8 Large water eters Woltan eters WI Irrigation eter for sprinkling fres and dirty water Well eter eavily soiled water, e.g. in agriculture, sewage treatent plants or wastewater processing plants, requires particularly robust eters. Te easuring insert is fitted in te top area of te pipe, were tere are ostly only a few suspended particles in te water wic s troug. Te Woltan irrigation eter can tus even function in water containing up to 30% pollution. Te irrigation eter is, owever, also frequently used for fres water as a control eter were rates fluctuate little. It is te ideal lowspeed well eter. Irrespective of te power supply, it is te costeffective alternative to induction eters. Te WI is a dry dial eter wit agnetic coupling. It can also be installed in pipes wic run vertically or orizontally. owever, a filter is recoended for soiled water. Te roller counter is encapsulated and can be secured wit a padlock. 9 Te reed switc (low frequency switc) supplies a lowresolution pulse frequency in proportion to te rate in cobination wit te counter of te water eter and te agnets, wic are installed as standard. Te reed switc is used for te reote counting and registration of trouging volues of water by eans of te suarizing electronic pulse output counter, printer or eory. It can be connected to te IZM 972 pulse counter odule and can tus be integrated into MBus networks. Type KGZR is suitable for series WPIN and WSIN Woltan eters. In order to prevent excessive turbulence in, stabilizing sections in front of te eters are prescribed. Tis task is also carried out by te straigteners wic are fitted in front of and beind te eter. Sould, owever, an irregular rate of occur in te pipe cross section, oter or additional easures ust be taken so tat te result of te easureent is not falsified. Tis proble occurs if a eter is installed iediately after a vavle bend in te pipe or if several pups feed one collecting pipe. A oneycob rectifier solves tis proble. 32 square axial cannels destroy te angular oentu of te water inside te pipeline. Located at te inlet of te oneycob section is a perforated disc wose cross section is approxiately alf te size of te cross section of te pipe. Te ining water is daped and te square cannels wic follow destroy any angular oentu. Te ead loss caused by te oneycob rectifier at a rate of 3 /sec is approxiately 0. bar. Te etal flange on te perforated disc is used to secure te rectifier between two flanges wit te oneycob section pointing in te direction of. A lengt of blank pipe at least 5 pipe diaeters sould be fitted in front of te eter.
