3 Control of Fuel Supply Possibilities for control of fuel supply equipment: 1 Manual fuel supply control (through equipment operators): The operator identifies the need and supply requests release of offset fuel station.

19 New technologies In mining the energy source used in the transport of material is diesel oil Recently developed the largest electric truck in the world: the edumper - Nominal Payload Capacity: 65 t - Battery pack boasting 700 kwh of storage capacity The edumper start the operation in a quarry in Péry (Switzerland) The truck will transport more than 300,000 tons/year, with useful life of 10 years. Reduction of 500,000 liters of diesel; Reduction of carbon dioxide emissions around 1,300 t.

20 New technologies The edumper rises up the hillside to the empty mine and down loaded with 60 tonnes of ore. Thus, the consumption is of 30 kwh in the climbs, while downhill and does not consume energy, the electric motor still generates 40 kwh, using the electric motor as a generator energy which is completely stored in the batteries. According to the manufacturers and operating conditions, it is an electric vehicle that produces more energy than it consumes.
