Inchiostro Born 1938 in Missouri to John & Lena Inchiostro a first generation Italian, Joe is the third of eight children. Joe is a graduate of St. Louis University and is a Veteran after serving in the Army. Joe has two children, Joe Jr. and Amanda and one Grandchild Joseph Aiden. Joe worked at Moog Automotive and Tire Mart before going to work with his brother Larry (5 of 8) who was ex Goodyear and ex Tire Mart employee as Independent Tire Brokers. In 1981 Joe and Larry opened St. Louis Wholesale Tire. They joined the Missouri Tire Dealers in 1983 and have been members ever since. In 1985 Joe became a Board Member and since served in every officiers position of the board and is still an active board member today. St. Louis Wholesale Tire was sold in It was sold to Joe and Larry s sons, Joe Jr. and John who have continued the family tradition of being a MTIA member. The annual convention is no longer just a social event, although there will be plenty of opportunities to network. Mainly in warehouses. Enforcement 5 felony dumping cases 9 dumping cases in KC (Camera) Most plea out at reduced sentences Grants grants approved annually. Had 44 applications in grant period $237,882 play ground grants $237,858 State fairgrounds stall pads and picnic tables $700,000 Joplin playground surface material and FEMA City playground $203,462 non playground 22 applications $28,922 State Welcome Centers and Rest Areas Picnic Tables (Weigh 650 pounds) $171, 078 Vegetation control mats Watch for legislation to begin in the next legislative session to prevent the Scrap Tire Fee from sun setting. Proposal will likely keep the fee as is with a redistribution of funds. Less in clean up and more into enforcement and grants
