3 WHY YOU SHOULD SUPPORT THE CUSHMAN SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM Thanks to our generous donors and corporate sponsors, we are able to use a significant portion of the proceeds from The Cushman School Gala to provide scholarships to students entering 1st through 12th grade. Scholarships are awarded based on need as determined by The Cushman Board of Trustees Financial Aid Committee using information from Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST). Your sponsorship will help us keep the student body of The Cushman School diverse. LAURA CUSHMAN ACADEMY A division of The Cushman School, the Laura Cushman Academy (LCA), specializes in providing students who have learning differences, with diagnostic-prescriptive instruction, novel multi-sensory activities, and speech and language therapy. The LCA strives to set each student up for success by working closely with his/her family to ensure that steps are taken at the right time and with the utmost planning. CUSHMAN HIGH SCHOOL- AGENTS OF CHANGE Cushman High is the newest program born out of great demand from parents who were craving the continuation of the Cushman learning tradition. Cushman High School offers a personalized character building and academically rigorous curriculum that is anchored in technology and the arts and enriched with real-life learning experiences. Our philosophical approach celebrates each student s uniqueness and recognizes the power of young people to serve as agents of change. Led by team of experienced educators who are wholly committed to the school's vision of academic excellence, our curriculum empowers students to embrace their passions while learning realworld skills that will set them apart as community leaders, global citizens, and agents of change. ARTS AND ATHLETICS Your generous sponsorship enables The Cushman School to continually enhance our athletic programing as well as provide our students with the hands-on Artist-in-Residence experience with local artists from our surrounding Miami community. Your donations also support our annual Spring Play, monthly assemblies, sound system improvements and our Middle School Performing Arts elective.
