This console was designed for the Police Pursuit Tahoe. However it can be installed into a Retail Tahoe or Suburban by removing the OEM center console. When the OEM console is removed, you must order the lower center trim panel from Chevy. Consoles will not fit properly without OEM lower center trim. Chevy part number for instrument panel lower center trim # (Color Black) The C-VS-1013-TAH-1 console provides mounting for the OEM Aux module, 12 volt and 110 volt sockets, but it does NOT have provisions for relocating the controls from the rear end of the OEM console. 2. Dash Monitor Mount # C-DMM-130 with side mounted keyboard assembly can be used with the C-VS TAH-1 console. The DMM lower frame will bolt to existing holes in the top of the console. The DMM lower bracket assembly will not be used. Review the C-DMM-130-INST instructions before starting console installation. See C-TCB-7, C006331, C-HDM-204 or C-HDM-214 with C-MD-204 and C-KBM-100 series for keyboard mounting options. Brackets included with Console Housing: Main support bracket CM Cross support bracket CM volt sockets CM Driver side trim panel CM Main Console Housing CM Floor bracket (one each side) IMPORTANT NOTES: Install CM floor brackets to existing OEM mount points as follows. Between bracket and hump, use 1/2 spacers at rear and 3/4 spacers at front. RE: Police Pursuit Vehicle without center seat or OEM console Use 3/8 x 1.75 self threading bolts and 3/8 flat washers and spacers RE: Retail Tahoe or PPV (code A95) with OEM center console or PPV with center seat Remove console or seat and use 10mm x 45mm bolts and 3/8 flat washers and spacers

The four mounting points in the Retail and PPV Tahoe are in the sides of the transmission hump. The PPV rubber will require small holes to be cut for spacer and bolt access. Install CM floor brackets to existing OEM mount points. Use 10mm x 45mm bolts and 3/8 flat washers for Retail Tahoe Or 3/8 x 1.75 self threading bolts and washers for Police Pursuit Vehicle. Between bracket and hump, use 1/2 spacers at rear and 3/4 spacers at front. See hardware notes at bottom of page two. Place main console housing on floor brackets and loosely attach with eight (8) 1/4 x 3/4 carriage bolts and serrated nuts. Note: Bolts come up through bottom. (Nuts on top) Loosely attach the electrical accessory mounting plate (CM005915) to the console U bracket with 1/4 x 3/4" Hex bolts and washers. (forward mount tabs face down) NOTE: Console revised 4/2016 with new main support bracket and cross support bracket for improved side mounted computer reinforcement. Attach driver side trim panel to console with four (4) #8 x 3/8 Torx head sheet metal screws.

4 Attach passenger side trim panel the same way as driver side. Note: This photo shows the OEM 120 volt socket mounted in the side trim after metal knockout plate has been removed. OEM wire ties and tape may need to be cut in order to have enough wire to extend to this location. Splicing four (4) wire extensions may also be required. Wire and eight (8) butt connectors for extensions must be supplied by the installer. If you choose to use the OEM 12 volt socket and Aux input module, insert them into the supplied 2 inch plate C-EB20-USD-1P and position as desired. Mount with supplied #8 x 3/8 Torx screws. Wire and mount supplied 12 Volt sockets. Wire and mount control heads. Install optional accessories. Mount optional Armrest. (C-ARM-103 shown) 5 When the Driver and passenger seats are slide all the way rearward, there are 5 inches of space from the back of console to the back of the seats. Installation complete

Installation complete Dash Monitor Mount # C-DMM-130 with side mounted keyboard assembly can be used with the C-VS-1013-TAH-1 console. The DMM lower frame can be bolted to the top of the console after marking and drilling two holes in the forward top trim panel. The DMM lower bracket assembly will not be used. Review the C-DMM-130-INST instructions before starting console installation.
