Our solution, whih n be seen bove, ws to supply stinless steel Exe juntion box fitted with pressure swithes. We inorported mnifold vlves nd supplied omplete wired ssembly. This ws bolted to bulkhed nd the proess onnetions tthed. The onept sved them onsiderble time s the pressure swithes did not need to be individully mounted nd wired. In ddition, single order ws pled, when normlly seprte orders for swithes, juntion boxes nd mnifold vlves would hve been required. 8 ARGUS ATEX/IECEx Exi & INDUSTRIAL SWITCHES INTRODUCTION The Argus pressure, differentil pressure, temperture, level nd flow swithes re designed for use in environments where explosive gses nd extremes of both high nd low mbient temperture n be present (e.g. gs fields, oil rigs nd hemil plnts et.) They hve been ATEX & IECEx ertified suitble for CAT 1 CE Ex II1G Exi IIC environments. These swithes re mnuftured from either PPS (engineering polymer) or high qulity investment st 316 stinless steel, both offering robust onstrution nd protetion to IP66/IP67 for use within hevily polluted industril nd mrine environments. Delrtion vilble for SIL2 - IEC61508 proven relibility. CALIRATION The design fetures simple form of librtion djustment ginst sle blok. This llows users to either order units with speifi setting, or stok mid rnge setting nd then djust to suit the pplition. On removl of the djustment over the djusting srew n be turned with Tommy br. The setting is red from the entre of the red inditing ring ginst the internl sle plte. Rottion to the left will inrese the set point nd to the right derese the set point. The djustment mehnism inorportes frition devie to ensure set point will not hnge under vibrtion onditions. (For ultr low pressure, vuum nd differentil pressure swithes the swithse in inverted. Set point djustment will be opposite to tht shown bove TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION Swithse nd overs: 316 Stinless steel or PPS (Polyphenylene Sulphide) + stinless steel fibres engineering polymer.
