Delivery period of M.P.F.T The delivery period 6months from the date of issue of supply order should be start from the date of Transfer of Advance Payment in the a/c of vendor. Moreover the D.P for 96MPFT should be at least 9 months due to large quantity of MPFT. So amend as under: 1.MPFT: 9 months from date of transfer of first Advance Payment in Vendor A/C Qualification Criteria for MPFT (Section VI A) :- MPFT: Please delete the Para 3, 5& 9 of Section VI A as the same is not applicable in MPFT case. Further amend the Para 36 of General Condition and read as under: The Firm should have Fabricated and supplied all types of Fire Tender Qty 100nos in the last three financial years and further out of it, 50nos Fire Tenders should be supplied with high/low pressure Pumps. The reason is high/low pressure starts mounting on Fire tenders from last 4 to 5 years. So, qualification of 50Fire tenders with H/L pressure pump is sufficient It is clarified that the delivery period of MPFT is increased to 9 months from 6 months as already mentioned in the tender document. It is further clarified that 50% vehicle will be delivered within 6months of transfer of advance payment to the account of vendor and remaining 50% will be delivered next 3 months. a. The Technical requirement in multipurpose fire tender is also different than these clauses. We have supplied more than 300 vehicles in India to various state fire services and also exported more than 75 vehicles to different countries. But till now we have not come across any technical criteria like this which is in favour of some other party. We humbly request you to eliminate the above mentioned clauses from both tenders i.e Multipurpose Fire Tender and Advance Rescue Tender to have healthy participation in your tender. 1) Levies and Taxes: Levis and Taxes should be applicable as per actual at the time of delivery. 2).Price and Validity: We request you to consider Price validity of 6 months instead of One Year. 3).Delivery Period: It is clarified that the delivery period of MPFT is increased to a. This has reference to the pre-bid meeting held yesterday in your office which was attended by the undersigned. We give below following points reg. Multipurpose Fire Tenders for your kind consideration: 1)EMD; As per tender documents EMD has to be transferred through RTGS or by DD. Sir, as per instructions issued by Govt. of India, SSI unit registered with NSIC (National Small Industries Corporation) are exempted from depositing EMD. Hence we request you to kindly give exemption to those bidders who are registered with NSIC. If it is not feasible, then we request you to please accept the BG instead of transferring the funds for the same amount. 2. Chassis: We would suggest that Department provide the chassis as they can get a good discount on bulk purchases than the individual bidders. This may please be considered. 3. Pump: Page 33 para 2.0 of Technical Specifications specifies that the pump should be "GE Marked/Godiva/Rosenbauer, Firefly". There are many manufacturers in India who are manufacturing quality CE pumps. We request that instead of specifying the brands it should only specifies CE Marked. 4. PTO: Page 36 para 4.2 of Technical Specifies Speed Ratio of PTO as "Not less than 1.27". According to us the speed ratio of the PTO should be 1.47 or 1.50 since the engine RPM has to be on higher side. With PTO having lesser ratio can lead to vibration and higher fuel consumption. Therefore PTO with higher step up ratio is suitable for HP/LP pump. 5. Similarly in the equipment list at page No.44 Portable Pumps has been specified of "Lombardini / Greaves Cotton" only. Since there are many other good Portable pumps are It is clarified that earnest money has to be submitted online only and No Bank Gurantte or demand draft will be accepted. Moreover, we feel that the Multipurpose Fire Tender is already loaded with many equipments and if we will be including Portable Pumps, it would create shortage of space in the fire tender. Instead of Portable Pumps the Corporation can include Light Mast or Winch, which will be more useful. 8 Page 8 of POWER-TAKE-OFF The P.T.O. shall be Heavy duty type of suitable ratio capable of transmitting the full torque of the engine in first gear. The lever for engaging the P.T.O. shall be provided in the Drivers cabin with proper locking arrangement. The PTO shall be mounted on heavy duty cross members and support brackets between the longitudinal members of the chassis frame. Means shall be provided to check the oil level in the PTO and suitable drain plug shall be provided at the bottom. A cooling coil made of copper tubes shall be provided inside the PTO at the bottom to prevent the oil of the PTO from heating. 7.0 FOAM COMPOUND PROPORTIONER Make or Brand to be mentioned 7.1 One manually operated selector & inductor type around the pump foam proportionator will be provided at the rear of the pump. The Pump proportionator will induct foam compound & water proportionately to feed the foam monitor. The proportionator will be calibrated to ensure the correct intake of air It should be automatic and ISI marked

The selector valve has different positions to draw foam as per requirement STRUCTURE & PANELLING 13.1 The complete structure will be fabricated from 2mm thick Galvanized ISI Marked Square Pipe 30x30x2mm. Longitudinal member on chassis of M.S. channels of 100X50X6mm & Cross members of M.S. Channel of 75X40X5mm. Angles used will be of min. 3mm thickness. The complete structure shall be treated for anti corrosion by Epoxy Primer except Galvanized pipe. All welding points shall be treated with epoxy treatment.
