TENDER NOTICE TEANDER NO: IIMK/ENGG/ELE/18/ SUPPLY OF ELECTRICAL SPARES AND CONSUMABLES Sealed tenders in prescribed forms are invited from reputed manufactures, dealers or suppliers for the above, so as to reach the office of the undersigned on or before at 3.30 PM. The terms and conditions are as mentioned below. 1. The tender Notice and the Annexure sheets form part of this tender. 2. Earnest Money Deposit: Rs. 2% of the quoted value. 3. Cost of Tender form: Rs. 500/- by DD favouring Indian Institute of Management 4. Kozhikode payable at Kozhikode. 5. Issue of Tender form: to during office hrs(09:00 AM to 05:30 PM). Interested parties can also download the Tender form from the Institute website ( and in such case, the cost of the form to be submitted along with tender at the time of submission. Tender form without cost of form or EMD will be rejected. 6. Tenders are to be sent to the issuing authority by Registered post /Speed post /Courier In case of hand delivery, the tenders shall be deposited in the in the Tender box Engineering kept for the purpose at the Reception area in the Administrative Block of the Institute. The name of the work, supply of electrical spares and consumables for the campus with full address of the tenderer, shall be clearly indicated on the sealed envelop. 10. The tender shall be complete in all respect and all items should be quoted. Tenders incomplete, partially attended etc are liable to be rejected. 11. The rates quoted shall be inclusive of all charges, taxes & duties (VAT etc), handling, transporting and unloading at the Institute's Campus site in Kunnamangalam. 12. The validity for the rates shall be upto 30 days from the supply.

The supply shall be made within 04weeks on receipt of purchase order and for any delay; penalty will be 0.5% of the order value of delayed items per week subject to a maximum 2.5% of the total quoted amount. 14. Detailed purchase orders shall be issued to the successful party and the acceptance of same shall be acknowledged within 3 days. 15. IIMK reserve the right to split the scope of supply, considering competitiveness of the rate offered by the suppliers, individual item of spares/consumables. 16. The supplier (successful quotationer) shall deposit an amount equivalent to 5% of the quoted value as Security Deposit in the form of DD or Bank guarantee; this security deposit shall be returned on completion of rate validity period or after satisfactory completion of supply. 17. The payment shall be effected after delivery, for the Bills preferred, within 30 days as per normal terms of the Institute. 18. The quality and make of the spares and consumables will be assessed by the Institute before releasing the payment. If any item is found substandard or defective the same shall be rejected and no claim for such item(s) will be entertained. 19.
