1 No. NIQ/INKEL/ / TH Nov 2015 NOTICE INVITING QUOTATION Sealed Quotations are invited for and on behalf of INKEL Limited, having its registered office at INKEL Centre, Off Vallathol junction, Sea-port Air-port Road, Thrikkakara, Cochin , so as to reach the undersigned on or before 30th Nov 2015 up to hours for the supply of items listed below. The quotations received will be opened at hours on the same day. The description of works to be carried out is shown in the additional sheet attached. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all the quotations without assigning any reason. The rate quoted will be final and all-inclusive and nothing extra will be paid on any account. Name of work:- Supply of 63 kva DIESEL GENERATOR SET WITH AMF for INKEL Ltd, Kochi. Terms and Conditions The scope of the work covers the design manufacture inspection and testing at suppliers works and delivery including unloading of DG Set at site INKEL office Kakkanad, Kochi. Detailed Technical Specification has been attached along with this NIQ as Annexure I. 1. Price Basis: Inclusive of all Taxes, ED/ other levies, Packing and Forwarding, Freight, Insurance, Entry tax, loading / Unloading at site and all other charges for delivery at site. 2. Delivery Time: The materials will be delivered within 3 weeks from the date of Purchase Order. 3. Guarantee / Warranty: Guarantee against all manufacturing defects for a period of 24 months from the date of invoice or 18 months from the date of commissioning or 5000 running hours, whichever is earlier. Defects if any noted during this period which are due to faulty design / workmanship, inferior raw materials shall be made good by way of replacement free of all costs to the INKEL Ltd 4. Payment: 90% of the value of PO will be released after the acceptance of DG Set in good condition at site and balance 10% after testing and commissioning at site. The invoice shall accompany a certificate from the PM/ AUTHORISED Engineer INKEL, stating that the entire materials covered by the Purchase Order have been received at site. 5. Packing and Dispatch The material shall be packed properly as per standard to eliminate the chances of damage during transit and while handing over at site. 6. 2 The INKEL Ltd reserves its right to inspect and approve the dg Set before dispatch. All facilities should be rendered for inspecting the materials and all tests as prescribed in the relevant BIS have to be conducted accordingly. 7. Tests: Test certificate covering all acceptance tests and routine tests as per relevant IS Specifications shall be submitted to M/s INKEL Ltd for approval before dispatch. It should be duly attested by your Testing Engineer with name and seal affixed. Copies of test certificates thus approved shall be sent along with the delivery documents. The goods shall be dispatched only after the test certificates are approved from M/s INKEL Ltd Insurance: The material should be insured at your cost to the destination. For INKEL Ltd. 5 Technical Specifications: The DG set shall comprise of a Diesel engine of adequate capacity directly coupled to an alternator mounted on a common base plate and with floor mounted control panel. An engine instrument panel shall also be provided. A control panel need be supplied as all the instruments, relays and controls including AMF control. Diesel engine shall be suitable for generating set application developing suitable BHP at 1500 RPM by multi cylinder and suitable to drive 63 kva alternator under NTP condition and shall have the following standard accessories: - Fly wheels to suit flexible coupling with guard, Air cleaner dry type, Coolant resister, Radiator with fan, Fuel pump, Fuel filter, Electronic governor type EFC. Lubricating oil filter, Exhaust silencer (residential), Electric starting equipment comprising of starting motor on 12 V DC, Lubricant oil cooler, Lubricant oil pump - gear type engine mounted, Battery charging generator with voltage regulator, 12 V battery with suitable AH capacity. Engine instrument panels shall comprise of: Starting switch with key, Lubricating oil pressure gauge, Water temperature gauge, Battery charging ammeter, Hour meter and RPM indicator, Safety control- Trip and annunciation for low lube oil pressure, Trip for high water temperature, Trip for Over speed The engine control shall have built in logic for AMF start and stop after a time delay on mains resumption. Fuel tank shall have minimum 150 ltr. Capacity with mounting bracket complete with level indicator, fuel inlet and outlet, air vent, drain plug, inlet arrangement for direct filling. Alternator shall be self-excited, self regulated, rated at 63 kva, 0.8 PF, 3 phase, 415 V, 4 wire 50 cycle per second. The alternator shall run at 1500 RPM and shall be provided with static excitation unit with AVR. Band of voltage regulation +2.5% rated voltage, insulation class H.
