The motor shall be FLAMEPROOF type, suitable for installation in Zone 1 Hazardous Area, Gas Group IIA and IIB, of Oil Mine. The motor shall be certified by Govt. of India, Central Mining Research Institute, Dhanbad, India (CMRI) and approved by Govt. of India, Director General of Mines Safety (DGMS) for FLP construction and use in above area. Standards Rated output : IS-2148, 325, The motor rating shall be minimum 10 % higher than the input shaft HP required for running of the driven equipment at the rated continuous output. These must be certified by Govt. of India, Central Mining Research Institute, Dhanbad, India (CMRI) and approved by Govt. of India, Director General of Mines Safety (DGMS) for FLP construction and use in above area. Copies of CMRI certification and DGMS approval for the motor as well as the glands must be furnished with the offer. 3. Motor shall be guaranteed for one year after date of commissioning and tested for routine tests at factory. Guarantee certificate & the factory test report of the motor should be submitted with the pump unit. 4. Frame size & make of the offered motor should be mentioned in the offer. 5. Copy of the drawing of the offered FLP Motor enclosure showing terminal box & cable entry arrangement with double compression FLP & weatherproof cable gland should be submitted with the offer for scrutiny by HEAD(Electrical), otherwise the offer will not be considered for evaluation. 6. All unused cable entries holes must be plugged with CMRI certified FLP sealing plugs made of cast iron. 7. Packing should be suitable for transit damage & protection against tropical rains. 8. Bidder must categorically mention that their offer complies with all the features mentioned in the Motor specification & all the relevant documents required as per above points are enclosed in their offer. 9. The FLP electrical equipments shall have name plate of corrosion resistant material and also have the DGMS (India)#s approval no./letter no. and DGMS logo embossed on the plate. 10.In the event of an order, supplier should emboss permanently the followings on every pump set: i) O.I.L. P.O. No. & date ii)'manufactured for O.I.L.' 3.0 Documentation : A) The bidder has to submit the following documents along with their offer failing which their offer will be liable for rejection : i) Detailed layout drawing with detailed equipment sizing calculation. ii) Detailed Electrical Line Diagram. iii) Detail technical literature for all equipment. iv) Categorical confirmation of submission of valid DGMS approval letter and CMRI certification for all equipment used in the unit. B) The bidder has to submit the following documents prior to dispatch of the unit & only after receipt of categorical approval from OIL, the unit is to be dispatched from their plant: i) Detailed Foundation Drawing of the unit. ii) Detailed Operation & Maintenance(O & M) Manual. iii) Guarantee Certificate. v) Valid CMRI certification & DGMS approval letter for all equipment used in the unit. 4.0 Spares Supply : (i)the bidder shall quote for recommended spares along with price, part nos. of individual items for two years trouble free operation of the dozing unit. These two year spares shall also be considered for evaluation. However, procurement of the whole lot of spares or part thereof shall be at the discretion of OIL.

5 Page:5/5 (ii)the bidders shall also confirm availability of all the spares quoted, for a period of 5(Five) years from the date of supply of the dozing unit. While quoting for these spares, the bidder shall take into account the consumption pattern as deemed fit. 5.0 Guarantee : The items shall be brand new, unused & of prime quality. Bidder shall warrant (in the event of an order) that the product supplied will be free from all defects & fault in material, workmanship & manufacture and shall be in full conformity with ordered specifications. This clause shall be valid for 18 months from date of shipment/despatch or 12 months from date of receipt of the items. The defective materials, if any, rejected by us shall be replaced by the supplier at their own expense. Bidders must confirm the same while quoting Validity of the offers should be 120 days. (Please refer clause 1.2 of Section 'D' of MM/GLOBAL/01/2005). Bids with lesser validity shall be rejected Quotation must be submitted in triplicate The items covered by this tender shall be used by Oil India Limited in the PEL/ML areas which are issued/renewed after 01/04/99 and hence Nil Customs Duty during import will be applicable. Indigenous bidder shall be eligible for Deemed Export Benefit against this purchase. Details of Deemed Export are furnished vide Addendum to MM/GLOBAL/01/2005 enclosed.
