1 ntroduction Modular loadbreak switches 16 to 15 amps The 7 range of loadbreak switches are available in 6 frame sizes (11 current ratings) and are suitable f use as mot isolats ( ) in the range of 7.5 to 1 kw. ll switches utilise the same handle style, all of which can provide do interlocking facilities. lipon accessies enable quick assembly of pole switches from basic pole versions. The addition of auxiliary contacts, earth and neutral terminals enhances the range of applications. Two types of padlockable handles are available f one three padlocks. conomical shaft extension kits are available including thermoplastic (modular) a metallic telescopic type. The latter has the advantage of being suitable f deep switchboard construction and incpates a padlock facility on the switch body itself as well as a do interlock mechanism and padlock on the operating handle. P 66 nclosed loadbreak switches The Y 7 enclosed loadbreak switches are the perfect solution f local isolation of mots as well as other plant and equipment. They are available in pole and 6 pole, the latter being suited to downstream isolation of 6 lead mots (stardelta starting). They cover mot sizes up to 5 kw.
