2 CE-CAB Hot Moulded GRP Cabinets CE-TEK have specifically introduced the CAB enclosure portfolio to offer a highly flexible and adaptable range of wall or pole mounted housings for a wide variety of Electrical, Electronic or Data/Tele-Com applications, and have chosen to manufacture these from a composite material known as SMC (Sheet Moulding Compound) which is a type of Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP). SMC is extremely robust, UV stable, and corrosion resistant whilst also having good resistance to heat and excellent mechanical shock resilience. SMC vs. Thermoplastics Unlike thermoplastics, SMC does not weaken under the effect of a heat source or melt when exposed to flame, thereby preventing the spread of fire. SMC also has good resistance to standard solvents as well as alkaline agents. By taking advantage of these services you can save time & money on tools and skilled labour both at your own facilities and later on site, and significantly reduce installation times through the use of factory integrated and conditioned CE-CAB enclosures.
