4 PExcom - pre-assembled Ex polyester connecting enclosures Ex polyester enclosures are used in many sectors of industry. The field of applications ranges from a simple connecting enclosure to a special distribution enclosure in aggressive chemical environmental conditions, in both on-shore and off-shore sectors and in hazardous dust areas. PExcom are pre-assembled junction boxes with cable glands, which are immediately available for the user. Ideal for universal warehouse storage and maintenance. Delivery within 48 hours Entries which are not needed can be closed by means of stopping plugs (please order separately). The product series has ATEX/IECEx approval, and additional certificates are possible. If your required execution isn t shown here, we can manufacture your own individual Ex junction box. 4

7 Captive Clamp enclosures Captive Clamp enclosures are used in many application sectors with harsh environments, in the on-shore and off-shore sectors, and in the chemical industry. In place of plugs or traditional sash fastener locks, they are fitted with so-called Captive Clamp locking systems. This locking system is ideal for use in installations in harsh environments: captive screws open / close by moving the Captive Clamp using a standard screwdriver execution with no screws near the seal area padlock system Two series are now available: Explosion-protected execution (ATEX and IECEX approval) and Non-explosive execution 7
