Larry land I went to the Chapter A Fall Harvest in Stockbridge and the Chapter S Traveler Plaque event at Dairy Queen in Winder. Both were fun and help in supporting the chapters, but very low in participation from the other chapters. Where were you? It seems that only a very few Chapters are participating in anything. Do you have other plans? Do you not ride? Are you tired of the Plaque? Do you not want to visit and support other chapters? We don t know. We realize that economics is a factor, and age is a factor, and distance is a factor, and other things, but we need your help to re-vamp and find what you do want to do and what can increase support and visitation for the chapters. Please send us your ideas. We will have a suggestion box at Wind Down, so please come on November 4th (bike, trike or car) and eat with us. We will have an appreciation for COYs, a dessert walk (bring one if you like), door prizes and a 50/25/25. Bring us your ideas. You can be anonymous if you like. We need your help! As such, it was decided by mutual agreement between Rider Education and Motorist Awareness that the requirement for a Motorist Awareness Seminar at Level lll and above was no longer needed. As of March 1, 2017, that requirement was officially terminated. It has taken some time to adjust the Rider Education Database to reflect this change in requirements. However, the database is now updated. The database should not be indicating anyone as not current at level III or IV for not attending a Motorist Awareness Seminar. Frank and Melinda

3 Page 3 Thank you for restoring me to rider! I have been without my trike for quite a while and now have it back! Thanks to Atlanta Bike and Trike in Lawrenceville, Georgia, it is running well and I can ride again. Not that I don t like to ride with Larry, but I do enjoy my own ride. They did a great job fixing my transmission! It seems that a lot of the 2005 and 2008 Goldwings have a problem with 4 th and 5 th gear. We know several who have had to install new or rebuilt transmissions. Hope it is not you! But, if it is, Atlanta Bike and Trike does a great job! Atlanta Bike and Trike is fairly new to the area. However, they are not new to the motorcycle industry. The business manage/owner and the mechanic/owner were previously at Lawrenceville Honda for many years and know their stuff! This article is not to exclude others who work on our bikes, but to let you know that we are very happy with the work on our transmission and that Atlanta Bike and Trike is open for business if you have a problem. They also work on bikes other than Goldwings and on ATVs.
