4 Directors Notes Ed & Linda Feldt Hey all, We had a busy month in September. We visited the Lincoln Jamboree again and took a trip to the Ark in Kentucky. We are having our Hobo stew at the Feldts home, that s us, and we will keep it short so we can eat. The Fall officer s meeting will be the 28th at the Brady Lane church. We will be serving the lunch again as everyone loved what we had last year. All members are welcome to attend this meeting and add comments if you wish. We are beginning the winter dinner ride schedule as of November 1st. Every first and third Wednesday we will meet at MCL at 6:30pm. Our new meeting date and time will be the 2nd Wednesday eat at 6:30, meet at 7:30. We are looking for a new spot. This will start in January with the new changes from GWRRA. Our weekend rides will be moving to Saturday eat at 8 leave by 9 from Downtowners. This was quick gathering and the food was great! See you out there. Ed & Linda Feldt

7 I purchased this bike from Max's in Peru in It had 1400 miles on it. I changed the oil and filter regularly. At 44,000 mile new brakes, brake and clutch hoses bled, hypoid oil changed, and coolant. In February 2016 I received the notice about the factory recall for brakes on most 1800s. So with 65,500 miles on it I took it to Westfield Motorsports in March. They did the brake work and while it was there they inspected the frame since that was an issue on models. It was cracked and not repairable by weld. Honda sent them a new frame and they installed it, total time four months. We bought a 2012 Goldwing as soon as they told us about the frame knowing it would take a while. I picked up the 2003 in July of They did a great job and Honda picked up the tab for the frame and installation. They also bled the brakes, the air filter (K&N), and changed the hypoid oil, which I paid for. I have put 350 miles on it since this work has been done and it rides and handles like new.
