2 GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS DIRECTIONAL COUPLERS This product section consists of four groups of coupler models: UNIDIRECTIONAL AND BIDIRECTIONAL MEDIUM POWER (50 WATT) Frequency ranges from Gz Standard coupling values of 10, 20 and 30 db Standard connectors are SMA female BIDIRECTIONAL IG POWER (500 WATT) Frequency ranges from Mz Standard coupling values of 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 db Standard connectors are type "N" female BIDIRECTIONAL IG POWER (1000 WATT) Frequency ranges from Mz Standard coupling values of 30, 40, 50 and 60 db Standard connectors are type "N" female These couplers feature rugged stripline construction using single and multi-section designs. They provide power sampling up to 1000 watts CW in small coaxial packages that have proven performance, reliability and can operate under extreme environmental conditions. To further enhance the performance, the use of matched high power terminations manufactured by MITEQ are internally mounted to obtain high directivity, excellent coupled port VSWR and higher coupled port power capability. FEATURES Easy installation for conventional power sampling and monitoring applications Powder coated for environmental ruggedness as per MIL-PRF-24712A Low thru-line insertion loss and VSWR Designed for use on power test equipment and military system requirements Complete in-house design and fabrication ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING AND QUALITY ASSURANCE MITEQ s high power components may be tested on site to meet most military specification requirements. Tests that can be performed at MITEQ are thermal shock, thermal cycling, temperature-altitude, etc. MITEQ s products meet all facets of ISO 9001, MIL-STD-202F, MIL-Q-9858A and MIL-STD Space qualified screened units are also available. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS Operating temperature to +85 C Storage temperature to +100 C umidity... 95% relative humidity, noncondensing Vibration... 7 g s rms, CPS per MIL-STD-810B, Method 514, Procedure 5 NOTES All published specifications apply by using a matched designed test fixture with testing performed at 23 C. Tests include VSWR, insertion loss, directivity and coupling. All measurements are performed in a 50 ohm impedance test system. 31
