Huguenot Malvern Gardens Mary Munford Monument Ave Museum District Sauer s Gardens Southhampton Stadium Stonewall Court Stony Point Stratford Hills Three Chopt Univ. of Richmond Westhampton Willow Lawn Willow Oaks Wilton Windsor Farms Oxford On April 26, 2013, at 11:12 p.m., the Subway restaurant at 2801 W. Broad Street, was robbed by unknown black male. An undetermined amount of U.S. currency was taken. The suspect was seen walking across the street to 7-11 and entering a white van. A police officer, who was patrolling near the CVS pharmacy, across from the 7-11, was alerted by a citizen who observed the suspect getting into the van. A vehicle pursuit ensured, but the suspect eluded apprehension. The suspect was later identified, and warrants were obtained for his arrest. On May 1, 2013, the suspect was arrested, after voluntarily surrendering to the police at 3rd Precinct. As we head towards the warmer months enjoying the parks, I would like to remind everyone to be mindful of locking their vehicles. Also, please avoid leaving property in plain view in your car to decrease the chances of becoming a victim of theft. As always, please feel free to contact me reference any police issues or concerns you would like to be addressed. Sincerely, Lieutenant Michael L. Stith address: Michael.Stith@richmondgov.com Office:
