1 RESOLUTON NO A RESOLUTON OF THE CTY OF SALSBURY AGREENG TO THE EXTENSON OF THE ACTNG STATUS FOR DALE PUSEY, DALLAS BAKER, MCHAEL OATES AND WLLAM DOTSON WHEREAS; the Cty' s Employee Handbook provdes that employees can only serve n actng status for terms exceedng sx months wth the advce and consent of the Cty Councl; and WHEREAS, Dale Pusey and Dallas Baker have been servng n actng status snce July 2, 201 l and have exceeded the sx month annversary and Mchael Oates has been servng n actng status snce Aprl 18, 2011 and has also exceeded the sx month annversary, and Wllam Dotson has been servng n actng status snce July 20, 201 1, and has also exceeded the sx month annversary; and WHEREAS, the Mayor s not yet ready to appont a new Deputy Drector of Publc Works, Supervsory Cvl Engneer, Utltes Dvson Chef and Permttng& Safety Coordnator and desres that Dale Pusey, Dallas Baker, Mchael Oates and Wllam Dotson contnue servng n actng capactes. k NOW, THEREFORE, BE T RESOLVED that the Salsbury Cty Councl hereby agrees to extend the actng status of Dale Pusey, Dallas Baker, Mchael Oates and Wllam Dotson. THE ABOVE RESOLUTON was ntroduced and duly passed at a meetng of the Councl of the Cty of Salsbury, Maryland held on the 27`' day of February, 2012 and s to become effectve mmedately upon adopton.
