2 SAF SERIES Hazardous Location Mogul Base HID and Compact Flourescent Ballast housing and outlet boxes are high strength, corrosion resistant copperfree cast aluminum alloy. Large hinge permits fixture to open for hands free wiring. Also allows better heat dissipation of internal components. All external hardware is stainless steel. Stainless steel inserts are available as an option. Superior heat resistant silicone o-ring gasket makes fixture for installation indooors or outdoors. Other materials available. All exterior surfaces are covered with corrosion and chemical resistant baked epoxy. Heat-resistant tempered prismatic glass globe is standard and is suitable for hose down applications. Corrosion resistant high strength fiberglass reinforced polycarbonate guard provides protection to the globe. Suitable for installation on marine environments where equipment is subject to salt water spray, either indoor or outdoor.
