These alternatives include: lternative 1 I- us Rapid Transit (I- RT) lternative Pacific ommuter Rail ( R) lternative 3 Pacific Light Rail Transit ( LRT) lternative 4 Pacific us Rapid Transit ( RT) lternative 5 ruce Randolph venue Light Rail Transit (R LRT) lternative 6 ruce Randolph venue us Rapid Transit (R RT) lternative 7 Martin Luther King oulevard Light Rail Transit (MLK LRT) lternative 8 Martin Luther King oulevard us Rapid Transit (MLK RT) For alternatives through 8, there are four options to connect from the corridor to. They include: Option Peña oulevard Option reet Option Tower Road Option Picadilly Road epending on the alternative there are a few possible alignment variations that were analyzed. These variations include: Variation m urlington Northern Santa Fe (NSF) Market Lead Variation s q Stapleton ccess along reet Variation s u Stapleton ccess along reet Variation s p ccess along reet The data developed for the detailed screening will be used to help identify the most reasonable alternatives to be fully evaluated and carried into the EIS. The information presented in detailed screening will be further refined and modified in the EIS reet, Suite 130 enver, O 8005 Phone: Fax: cooperative effort between FHW, FT, OT, RT, and enver

11 Transit etailed Screening Evaluation orridor-wide meetings - September 9 and 30, 004 FOOTNOTES: 1. Reflects connection to US on righton oulevard Ranges reflect differences between options (.) and (Telluride Rd.) for connecting to. Ranges reflect differences between Pacific alignment variations (Market lead, Stapleton access via., and Stapleton access via.) and four options (., Telluride Rd.,., and.) for connecting to. Ranges reflect differences between ruce Randolph/MLK alignment variations and four options for connecting to. uto travel time from downtown to is 53 minutes (0 No-action) (downtown is reet and alifornia Street) and does not include time for parking at Number of total regional transit trips in system. 8. The ridership figures shown for the alternatives have different assumptions regarding access options. These assumptions include: lternative 1:. lternative :. lternative 3:. lternative 4:. lternative 5: ruce Randolph ve. lternative 6: ruce Randolph ve. lternative 7: Martin Luther King lvd. lternative 8: Martin Luther King lvd. ruce Randolph ridership was not modeled separatedly and is assumed to be the same as MLK ridership. RT ridership for the orridor, ruce Randolph, and MLK was not modeled. The ridership is assumed to be the same as light rail on those corridors. 9. ost does not include LRT extension from 30th/reet to 40th venue 10. Reflects a conservative (high) estimate of the number of buildings potentially impacted by the construction limits of the alternatives and does not include station locations Highest potential for mobile source emissions 3 - Moderate potential for mobile source emissions 5 - Lowest potential for mobile source emissionshello 15. This criteria calculates the theoretical two-way capacity of various transit technologies based on assumptions related to service frequency and vehicle capacity. For commuter rail the following assumptions were used: 5 to 7.5 minute frequencies, use of bi-level MU rail vehicles (locomotives) with a capacity 400 person (188 seated and standing) and bi-level low-floor coach vehicles with a 41 person capacity (185 seated and 7 standing), for a total of a four-car train. For light rail the following assumptions were used:.5 to 5 minute frequencies, use of existing Siemens LRT vehicles with a capacity of 1 persons (64 seated and 61 standing) for a total of a four car train. For RT the following assumptions were used: 30 second to 1 minute frequencies, use of standard articulated buses with capacities of 61 persons (seated only). 1. Estimated number of minority residential displacements relative to total number of residential displacements. 13. Estimated number of low-income residential displacements relative to total number of residential displacements Highest potential noise impact based on promimity to properties and transit technology 3 - Moderate potential noise impact based on proximity to properties and transit technology 5 - Lowest potential noise impact based on proximity to properties and transit technology Vibration impact potential was evaluated based on linear feet of vibration sensitive land use (residential, schools, churches, and hospitals) potentially affected multiplied by a vibration factor (number of vehicles per day multiplied by root mean squared (RMS) value from FT by technology) and divided by The information shown on this exhibit highlights conceptual work in progress and is subject to change as the environmental impact statement process continues. cooperative effort between FHW, FT, OT, RT, and enver
