The conference rooms are fully air-conditioned and can be darkened. As a mid-morning snack we can offer you open sandwiches, and Danish pastries or cake as an afternoon snack. A basket of fresh fruit is at your disposal during each break. Naturally, we will gladly help you to organise an additional lunch for your event. If you are planning an event lasting several days, we will gladly send you a list of local hotel establishments. You can use the TÜV car park free of charge.

10 TÜV AUSTRIA Academy Weinviertel In Gänserndorf - from theory straight to practice Surrounded by the gently undulating landscape of the Weinviertel, our conference rooms and practical rooms are located on the premises of OMV. Take advantage of the opportunity to first work on the theoretical side of things in the conference rooms and then follow this up in our electrical engineering, process control engineering and chemical laboratories, in the welding room and the workshops, applying your knowledge to practice. 12 G 09 Electrical engineering laboratory Size 101 m² Workspaces 12 The equipment includes all alternating current and direct current motors, as well as protection exercises and frequency inverters for their control. All installation components such as push buttons, switches, two-way switches, intermediate switches, light sockets, fluorescent tubes and safety measures in the form of circuit breakers, residual-current circuit breakers and other components from the field of control cabinets are also available. An overview of the laboratories and workshops G 10 Process control engineering laboratory Size 97 m² Workspaces 12 The laboratory is equipped with six practice benches with original system components for exercises pertaining to measurement technology and control engineering (automatic monitoring of pressure, temperature, flow, filling level, etc.) and control components by SIEMENS and Bernecker & Rainer. G 11 Mechanical workshop manual Size 150 m² Workspaces 12 G 12 Mechanical workshop mechanical Size 150 m² Workspaces 6 The workshops enable the training of all tasks pertaining to metal-working professions. Various types of turning, milling and planing machinery are available, as are sawing machines, drills and grinding machinery as well as workbenches for performing manual metalwork. G 13 Pneumatics laboratory Size 60 m² Workspaces 20 In specific exercises pertaining to the manufacturing/ assembly process, visitors to the pneumatics laboratory can practise working with pneumatic and electro-pneumatic components. The necessary components such as cylinders, directional control valves and proximity sensors can be combined with wiring diagrams devised by the participants themselves.

13 G 14 Welding room Size 35 m² Workspaces 8 The welding room offers eight fully-equipped welding places with their own extraction system. Each workspace has a solid base and connections for MIG/MAG, autogenous, TIG and shielded metal-arc welding methods. G 15 Industrial landscape Size 225 m² Workspaces 10 (12) Our industrial landscape is a pilot plant to illustrate measurement technology, fittings and automation processes. The installed practice pumps enable training the starting and stopping of pumps as well as the installation of various pipeline sections on assembly frames and the performance of leakage tests. Moreover, electricians can be trained in installation engineering on the control panels. G 17 Wet chemical laboratory Size 149 m² Workspaces 12 In addition to various distillation equipment and balances, the laboratory is equipped with various analysis devices, such as refractometers, UV/VIS spectrometers and automatic titrators. The chemical basics as well as quantitative and qualitative analyses methods, distillation methods, etc. can be worked on. G 18 Isolation pilot plant Size 137 m² Workspaces 6 G 19 Process pilot plant/rectification room Size 137 m² Workspaces 6 All the steps in a distillation process can be controlled and monitored on four automated and computer-controlled stirred-tank reactors and connected distillation columns in the isolation pilot plant. A fully-automated pilot plant system for distillation and rectification purposes is at the disposal of the participants in the process pilot plant.

Please let us know in advance if your event will overrun this time frame. Refreshments in the breaks We will gladly fulfil all your culinary wishes and those of your guests and employees. Please note that any refreshments in the breaks which are not included in the standard seminar all-inclusive rate are charged separately. Accommodation Do you require rooms for your event? We will gladly send you a list of hotel establishments in the vicinity. Cloakroom Cloakrooms are available free of charge in the conference rooms. Please note, however, that no liability can be assumed for any objects brought to our premises. Internet and network connection Each conference room is equipped with Wi-Fi and network connections. Additionally, our guests can use the Internet terminals in the break rooms free of charge. Seminar equipment If you require equipment in addition to that covered by the standard seminar all-inclusive rate, we will gladly provide this for a surcharge. Events on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays Additional costs for events held on weekends or bank holidays which are not included in the standard seminar all-inclusive rate are charged separately. Cancellation conditions The following cancellation fees and conditions apply: Later than 15 working days before the event, 30 % of the agreed services will be charged. Later than 11 working days before the event, 60 % of the agreed services will be charged. Later than 8 working days before the event, 80 % of the agreed services will be charged. Later than 4 working days before the event, 100 % of the agreed services will be charged.
