3 3 A BOUT Managing Director, Mr. Reidar Vågeskar Mare Safety supplies a range of products, in which the largest segments are MOB-Boats and galleys. The company which was established in 2000 with 2 employees and it now has 16 employees and has exceeded 100mill NOK turnover. Mare Safety delivers worldwide, and has delivered 500 complete galleys, and close to 350 MOB-Boats since establishing. Complete Galleys We take care of the layout planning and engineering work. We supply the equipment required according to customer spesifications for a complete galley, pantry and laundry. We provide top of the line, high quality products, from well known producers. A well planned Galley increases efficiency and makes working pleasurable. The company s philosophy is to provide optimal conditions for preparing food. We work closely with our suppliers to develop new products, and we have delivered more than 400 galleys for all types of ships. We also deliver loose galley equipment. Everything from table spoons to food processors. US MOB boats We have developed, produced and equipped a number of specialized rescue boats and rescue crafts. All of the company s models are designed to comply with the most recent SOLAS standards. Our boats are often recognized by its primary use of the colour yellow, as opposed to most MOB-Boats which are orange in colour. Work Wear Our products are known for their high quality and have been specially developed and adapted for the Scandinavian market. The brand consists of two different ranges: one Swedish and one Norwegian, which are supplied from the warehouses in Borås and Gurskøy respectively. 4 4 GALLEYS AND MESS-ROOMS Oceanic Sirius is designed and built in accordance with strict environmental standards and equipped with state-of-the-art technology for advanced seismic research operations. She is owned by a joint venture between Eidesvik and CGGVeritas. The vessel was named in a ceremony in Ulsteinvik on October 1 st. Oceanic Sirius is sister vessel to the Oceanic Vega, delivered by ULSTEIN in July We are proud to have delivered a fully equipped galley and mess- room solution. 5 5 Chief Steward, Jørgen-Ove Hellevik, together with chefs onboard Olympic Ares. They are pleased and satisfied with the equipment in the galley and mess room delivered by Mare Safety AS Olympic Ares was delivered from Kleven October 28th 2013 to Olympic Shipping located in Fosnavåg. This subsea vessel is newbuild number 362 from Kleven yard, and have a MT 6022 MK II design from Marin Teknikk AS in Herøy. Orgianally, Olympic Ares was supposed to be named Olympic Reef, signed for a five year contract for Reef Subsea, but this contract was terminated by Olympic Shipping. 6 6 GOOD QUALITY ENSURES GOOD RELATIONS Kleven Maritime delivered the LNG powered offshore supply vessel Viking Prince to Eidesvik Offshore earlier this year. Eidesvik Offshore as owners are in the absolute forefront with regards to environmentally friendly offshore vessels, with several LNG powered vessels in their fleet. Kleven Maritime built the world s first LNG powered supply vessel, Viking Energy, for Eidesvik in Mare Safety AS has been chosen as the supplier of galley and mess room solutions to Kleven Maritime, nearly since the start of Mare Safety AS back in the year Mare Safety is very glad to take part of this and hope our relations will grow further together with Kleven Maritime AS. 7 7 Galley onboard MT6022 INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY Mare Safety AS supplies galley and mess-rooms internationally, we have delivered to Hanjin Heavy Industry in Busan, South Korea (MT6022). We have good relations with Stx OSV Niterói in Brazil, and have made many deliveries to this shipyard. We have also served total solutions on galleys and mess rooms to shipyards in Vietnam, Spain, and the Netherlands. 8 8 COMPLETE GALLEY AND MESS-ROOM SOLUTIONS STX PSV 06 LNG design. Mare Safety delivered the complete galley and mess-room solution onboard Olympic Energy delivered from STX OSV Aukra to Olympic Shipping. The vessel is designed as a platform supply vessel for worldwide operations and transport of general cargo for the offshore industry. We take care of the layout and drawings, planning and delivery, If required we have close cooperations with external companies for installations of equipment. Our service department fulfills the project with onboard start-up test of the equipment. Our service department handles spare parts and aftermarket, we stock hold a large range of spare parts and general standard kitchenware in our warehouse. Usually our clients have a short time limit and often go quickly in and out from ports around the world. Quick and easy handling and fast shipping is the key. Mare Safety also has service agreements with a large range of suppliers, and we are continuously updated on new equipment in the marine market. Our service department offer mandatory services and certifications throughout the whole life-expectancy of your MOB and Davit system. We also do repairs, modifications and product specific training for your crew members. We are strictly following the IMO intensions with MSC 1206 when it comes to annual and 5-year inspection and certification of your Life Saving Equipment. Our technicians are trained and certified after MSC.1/Circ and are following the strict guidelines required by SOLAS. We have technicians who are ready to travel at very short notice. They all have extensive safety training for offshore travel and normally we can reach most of the world within 48 hours. With our network of service stations around the world, covering the most important shipping and oil hot-spots, we can offer cost effective services at very short notice, reducing your down time and cost to an minimum. After annual and 5-year survey, a certificate describing what has been done to your equipment is issued.
