The west Coast 1 are powered by a reliable Marine Propulsion engine from Yanmar a 6 cylinder Main engine type 6CH-HTE3 with 172 HP capacity, equipped with a turbo charged and intercooler. The engine is equipped with a twin disc 5050SC gear with 3:1 ration, with a throttle valve for low speed fi sh operations, and PTO Power Take Off for hydraulic equipment and a fi xed pitch 4 blade propeller.
