1 INFO-PACK ARRIVING IN BUDAPEST / AIRPORT CITY transfer 1. minibud airport shuttle is the best way, and you can book it in advance. The only inconvenience on the way back to the airport is that the pickup time is decided by minibud and they usually propose 3 hours before the flight / more information about this service: 2. taxi / average price for a ride is around HUF (about EUR 25) for one way. You will find the taxi booth in front of Terminal 2A at the airport as you come out. The name of the company is Főtaxi. Do not accept the offers of unregistered taxi drivers standing at the arrivals gate. 3. public transport / Bus 100E (do not mix it with 200E, which does not bring you to the city centre) leaves from the stop between the arrivals gates of Terminal 2A and 2B. It costs HUF 900 one way (EUR 3), it is a convenient and relatively fast ride bringing you to Deák Ferenc tér, which is the main metro hub in the Pest side. If you decide to skip a show that you have registered to please return the ticket that you don t need to the registration desk so that we can give it to other guests. Also, if you need a ticket for a show that you haven t registered to, please ask our colleague at the information desk for a ticket. BUS SHUTTLES during dunapart4 Both for theatre and dance program dunapart4 provides private bus shuttles between venues. Each day the first buses leave from Trafó (main venue) to the other venues. After each event, except the last ones every day there will be a ride to the next program. To and during the rides you will be escorted by dunapart s volunteers, programmers, and artists as well, you just need to follow the sign. Guests visiting the dance programme in the evening will catch a bus from Várkert to Trafó. You can access the Budapest transport planner here: Also, you can download the BKK FUTÁR app on your smart phone Tickets and prices Tickets are available at vending machines at stops, which also take bank cards. A single ride is HUF 350, which is about EUR 1. For HUF (EUR 10) you can buy 10 tickets collectively. Alternatively, you can buy a hour pass for HUF or - 72-hour pass for HUF - weekly pass (BEST DEAL) All these are available in the ticket offices at main traffic hubs and also at vending machines at stops for cash or bank card. Bars especially in busy tourist areas watch out for your bills, that you only pay what you have consumed and you pay the price you saw on the menu. Money exchange at the airport the rates are very bad, so try and change money in the city centre. Exchange offices and banks offer good rates.
