2 ABC Earthing Kits H01 ABC Earthing Kit 4 legged ABC earth kit. Each leg of the earth truss terminates with a female bayonet type pipe connector with a protective rubber hand guard. These couple onto individual ABC phases via a male bayonet pipe fitting which is connected by an IPC. 4 x 25mm² flexible copper earth leads with clear PVC Jacket. Short circuit rating 5kA/second. SZL-FRZ-B Legged ABC Earthing Kit ABC/Bare Wire LV Earthing System Designed to meet the requirement for an earthing kit for use on low voltage ABC conductor with the facility to be adapted for use on traditional bare wire low voltage systems. This kit allows earthing of ABC conductor through the fuse cutout box with 3 wedge type earth clamps tightening down onto the fork of the fuse contact on LV pole mounted fuse cutout boxes. : LV-ABC-BW The kit consists of an earth truss with 5 x 25mm² copper earth leads joined using a terminal plate housed in a black plastic cover. Each end of the earth truss has a pipe connector with a rubber hand guard, which terminates in a female bayonet fitting. When being used on LV ABC the single 1m lead connects onto the earth/neutral ABC wire via a male bayonet pipe fitting connected by an IPC. The 3 wedge clamps are also attached to the earth truss by a pipe connector with a male bayonet fitting. The black rubber handles enable a positive means of connection and disconnection of the wedge clamps on and off the fork of the fuse contact in the pole box. Note, one earth leg is left free when used on ABC conductor. The bayonet fitting allows the replacement of the wedge type earth clamps with the screw type duckbill clamps for use on bare wire low voltage lines using 4 legs as a shorting kit or 5 legs where earthing of street lighting wire is required. An additional lead with pipe connector and duckbill clamp is available for use on bare wire LV systems where an additional earth wire is installed. The complete kit is provided with a stuff sack with internal pockets to neatly store individual components. This kit has been independently short circuit tested in accordance of the requirements of IEC 61230:2008.

3 Low Voltage Earths H02 LV Earthing Sets LV Earthing Sets or shorting leads are supplied as standard with S9B screw type handled clamps. Available as 4 or 5 legged sets to suit your requirements. Leads are orange sheathed aluflex 1.5m long. Kit is rated at 8kA/second. G clamp connects directly to earthing point (rod or plate). The spare earth lead is for connecting on to the busbar if required.

4 11kV Portable Earth Sets H03 11kV earth kits are supplied with spring loaded snap on clamps as standard. 3 phase leads are connected to the earth lead via central cluster star point, a cluster bar is available as an alternative. Where safety rules dictate that the crossarm should also be earthed an additional phase lead with CE10 crossarm clamp can be added to the star point or cluster bar. If more convenient, the crossarm lead can be supplied as a separate item with the CE10 clamp one end and a CE62 snap on clamp at the other end. In some circumstances a separate 6m bond lead is requested with S9AH clamps each end. 11kV Earths 11kV Earth Kit 11kV Earth Kit with Crossarm Bond Lead 11-EARTH 11-EARTH-SC-CL 11kV Earthing Set with 3 x snap-on conductor clamps, 3 x 3 metre 120mm² Aluflex phase leads connected to central cluster bar, 1 x 15 metre 50mm² Aluflex earth lead and 1 x earth end clamp. 5 33kV Portable Earthing Sets H04 33kV Earthing Sets The standard 33kV Earthing Set is supplied with parking bar, 3 x S9B conductor clamps with taper operating screw (ring type as alternative), 2 x 3 metre 120mm² Aluflex phase leads, 1 x 15 metre 50mm² Aluflex earth lead and 1 x earth end clamp. 6 Earthing Clamps H05 Crossarm Clamp : CE10 For direct connection to tower steelwork or crossarm angle. Large T bar has a captive hardened steel tip to penetrate through painted weathered or non-conductive surfaces and indents into steelwork ensuring a strong efficient earth connection. Alternative Crossarm Clamp : CE29 Alternative Crossarm Clamp, can be attached to angle or tie straps. Line End Clamp with Long Taper Screw : S9B-LT Line end clamp manufactured from aluminium alloy and suitable for a conductor range of 3-27mm diameter. Designed to make positive connection on to the conductor. Used with HOR-P331 operating socket. 7 Earthing Accessories H06 Earth Nest : EN-850 For use with both 11kV and 33kV portable earth sets. The Earth Nest consists of 4 x 850mm copper earth rods connected with 50mm² Aluflex and brass rod connector to flat terminal plate. HV Earth Down Lead : HV-EL15-50 Replacement earth lead for 11kV and 33kV portable earth sets. 15m x 50mm² orange Aluflex with terminal lugs. Phase leads also available 3m x 120mm² standard, other sizes available on request. Earth Rod Driver : ER-DT Manufactured using high-grade hardened steel. Attaches to standard breaker and fits over the earth rod to drive it easily to ground level. Please advise size of breaker collet when ordering. Screw Type Earth Rod : 4370 For one man use, the Hastings screw type earth rod has a 12 long (30cm) helix to enable easy installation in most ground conditions. 5/8 diameter copper weld rod. 12 (30cm) bronze handle. 72 (183cm) overall length. Running Earth : 9738 Adjustable stringing earth accepts conductors from 5mm - 27mm diameter. Self lubricating rollers, aluminium alloy. Tested to 19kA.

8 Specialist Earthing H07 Mobile Earthing Trolley The mobile earthing trolley is designed to improve installation of earthing over long distances in applications such as sub-station earthing. 95mm² copper cable with length up to 20m allows connection to earthing terminal points at various locations. Simply uncoil the cable from the free wheeling drum and connect with the universal earth clamp on to the earth rod or flat bar. Handle enables speedy recoiling neatly onto the drum. The earth mat is manufactured from vinyl-polyester or hypalon-marine fabric with high ampacity, tinned copper braid sewn into a grid pattern. The braid connects to a terminal stud on the corner of the mat which can be bonded to any equipment being worked on using an approved earth clamp and cable assembly. 9 Earth Rod Drivers H08 A safe and efficient solution for driving earth rods. We offer two types of driver - a manual version and a power version which fits on to a breaker. Both types ensure a safer means of driving earth rods as the operator is stood at ground level regardless of rod length. The rod is gripped near ground level minimising vibration in the rod and reducing soil displacement to achieve improved earth resistance readings. Manual Earth Rod Driver The Manual Driver provides a portable means of quickly driving earth rods up to 12ft with considerably less effort than other drivers. The guide tube ensures a powerful and direct blow with each strike of the hammer. Couplings can be installed between the bottom of the chuck and ground level. One person operation, the driver is suitable where access with vehicles is difficult. The two components weigh only 19lb (8.6kg) each and can easily be carried, one in each hand. Weighing only 28lb (12.8kg) the power driver can easily drive rods up to 16ft. One person operation, the driver grips the rod near ground level, eliminating the problem of having to hold the breaker at an unsafe height.
