2 Etac Cross 5 Active - Creating stability for activity Etac Cross 5 Active is the perfect choice for the active wheelchair user who requires a little bit more trunk stability and prefer a compact folding frame. Shape, Support and Performance The frame, made of casted aluminum and a reinforced cross brace, form a perfect unit that responds directly to the smallest hand movement when propelling. With 36 selectable rear wheel positions, the perfect seat height and energy-saving propulsion combination can be guaranteed. The frame has a neat design and if desired, Cross Active can be equipped with anti-tippers. The 2B back support is designed with gently curvedtubes providing extended lateral support. Upper body balance is core to optimize propulsion. To be active longer, we seek solutions extending sitting tolerance over time. We call this - Ability Based Seating TM. Features Padded shields Padded shields provide extra comfort and protect sensitive areas from peak pressure. The right balance Try a more active wheel position for improved mobility. 4 Etac Cross 2B Back Support promoting the ability to be active The design of the back support is of importance to provide maximum support, freedom of movement and mobility. The 2B back support has integrated lateral support. The padded shields covering the tension adjustable back straps are protecting sensitive body zones from pressure. The 2B back support is intended for the user who wants to remain active but needs that little extra support for stability. Embracing Shape The accurate pelvic support The c-curved back support provides improved lateral support and literately embraces the user s back. Fixed push handles are integrated on the back tubes. To obtain an accurate pelvic support, the lower part of the upholstery is height adjustable. This setting is easily done with the user positioned in the wheelchair.
